Vacuum looks terrific but I am afraid that it is junk. I've read too many reviews. This vacuum gets 5 stars, but I've seen so many
complaints I don't know what to do. I don't want to waste what little money I have.
IS THIS VACUUM ALL HYPE AND JUNK?

The bearing or the motor is warn out they last 15 years in the case. In some rare case the brush ware out or the rely can catch fire, most central vacuum are not made to be oiled! Hot oil will catch on fire. Best to unplug the vacuum unit call a few shops and ask replacement motor cost, if you remove the Vac and take to them it will cost less.
