Well, it depends on the version of MS Office you are using....and to create an outlook express account, you need to have a .NET account for microsoft and you can sign up for this using your OS itself...try doing this and you should be able to use MS outlook express.

Can't send email in outlook. please advise.

Can't send email in outlook
Outlook is an email client, much like outlook express or Windows Live mail.
TO work correctly the email client has the information already set up in to be able to contact the mail server (the computer with your email messages), and also authenticate you as a user (an email address and password).
In some cases you also need to configure the email servers (basically provide the server information directly to the system)
The newer version of Outlook can try to detect these settings, with decent success.

In order to make it work, open Outlook and click set up new email account.
Provide your name, email address, and password, servers, etc.

Since you didn't provide the name of the email provider (yahoo, msn, gmail, etc.) I will assume you know the specifics for it.
Also note that some free email accounts do not work well with Outlook. I know MSN and free yahoo mail accounts don't work very well.

Microsoft Outlook

If you attempt to send a message that is too large for your mail server you may be unable to delete it from the Outbox.

First, try setting Outlook offline using the File, Offline menu. Wait about a minute or so or close Outlook and reopen.
If you are unable to delete the message while in offline mode or cannot go into offline mode, you'll need to change your default delivery location.

  1. Add a new PST using the File, New, Outlook Data File menu.
  2. Open the Email Accounts dialog on the Tools menu.
  3. Select view or Change existing email accounts and click Next.
  4. Select the new personal folders file from the Deliver new email to the following location list.
  5. Click Finish and restart Outlook.
  6. Show the folder list, using Ctrl+6 if necessary, and find the old Outbox. Delete the message.
  7. Repeat steps 2, 3, 4, and 5 to restore the original pst as the default delivery location.
  8. Show the folder list and move any new messages from the new pst to the original pst.
  9. Right click on the new folder's name and Choose Close to remove it from your profile.

I have an acer. I would like to send email from my yahoo ,but when I try the outlook express wizard comes up and asks me for the pop3 stuff and I do not know what to do to get it right..... A step by step...

this is not exactly where you should be. Yahoo offers POP3 email for your outlook but there is a price for that. to use yahoo free email service, you need to send the emails from your webmail yahoo account. open the website,, click on MAIL, then enter your user name and password and clik next and then it will take you to your inbox where you see all your emails. so then click on COMPOSE. then type the email address you want to send the emails to. then to attach the photos, click on ATTACH. then click on BROWSE, then select the pictures which you want to attach. select them and then click on attach. you would see the attach pictures like attachment 1 or 2 or 3...4 and then click SEND.

thats all you need to do.

have fun..try couple of times you can do it.

When I send and receive Email I get get 1 line 539 2 char 1 3 object expected 4 code 0 5 url mhtml://00000000/ if I click yes it disappears but will this harm my P.C

First off, I would like to mention that I don't think this script will harm your system, but it is an indication that there's some corruption in the registry, and should probably be addressed so something more severe doesn't unfold and cause your OE to stop working, or result in the loos of your data. Microsoft has a workaround for this problem, which you can apply to your system by going to this link.
Because this involves a change to your registry, I recommend that you create a system restore point prior to carrying out these instructions, and also download and run a copy of a registry backup utility called Erunt, available from here or here, and tips for installing it here. Erunt will make a complete backup of the registry in the event that you needed to restore it because of some problem that occurred after making the change. This is not meant to scare you, but as a precaution.
Once you have taken these preliminary measures, work carefully through the steps outlined in the Microsoft article to repair the damaged identity in Outlook Express.
I am also providing a link (click here) to a basic repair process for outlook express that you may wish to try prior to doing the identity repair. It's possible that it would be enough to clear up the difficulty. It depends on your particular situation. If you do the repair steps and restart your system and continue to have the script appear when send/receive email, you will have to follow the damaged identity instructions to repair your Outlook Express.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!
