How do i adjust the bowl height on an ksmc5os?

I'm not familiar with your model but on stand mixers with crank handle bowl lift there are 2 places for it to be. With bowl lift down there can be s screw straight in from the front on the pedestal just above the bowl lift sliding bracket, the full range of adjustment is half a turn, anti clockwise to raise, clockwise to lower. The other one is a small screw sticking down from under the gear case where the bracket that carries trhe bowl slides up and down. Clockwise to lower, anti clockwise to raise.

Can't fold phil and teds dash,

I successfully fixed this issue today on a 2008 dash stroller. first remove the handle, you will need to drill out the two rivets with a 1/4" drill bit, but don't go too far, don't drill out the plastic on the handle piece. unscrew the four brake cable clips. unscrew the two screws securing the grey release clips. Prop stroller on the handle bar side (put padding underneath so you don't mess up your work surface) and the rear wheels. now get two small bladed screw drivers, you can gradually pry down the internal plastic locking wedge on either side till it releases the front wheel section which folds down. (on the left side which is likely functioning, you can just pull the plastic circular piece down with your fingers, as the internal wire is still connected)
Now grab some vise grips, lock onto the locking wedge and remove the whole mechanism, also remove the foam inside with a screw driver (this likely is what was supposed to keep the tension wire in place). Take the locking wedge mechanism apart. ( you will need to push the steel pin out with a small screw, it does not take a lot of force) Get a small nylon zip tie and secure it around the shaft on the tension wire connecting end of the locking wedge. (this will keep it from ever falling out(pulling through) again. This part (the locking wedges) should have been made out of aluminum or stainless steel and the issue would never occur. You will need to trim the catch end of the zip tie and make sure that it can slide freely inside of the plastic sleeve. now slide off the nylon zip tie and set it aside along with the spring.
Take the circular plastic piece (the 4" part inside that is near the handle piece with slots in it) slide in the tension cable. Slide the other end of the tension cable into the frame from the handle bar side till you can reach the end from the front wheel side. Now slide on the tubular plastic wedge housing and lock it in place to the frame (the detente underneath the frame lines up with the bump on the tubular sleeve), then the spring, then the small nylon zip tie, then the release wedge. Secure the zip tie onto the release wedge shaft and aim the head of the zip tie down so it can slide freely. Put some Vaseline or white lithium grease on the release wedge so it slides well. If the release wedge binds up you will need trim the zip tie head a bit more so it fits.
Next take the removed riveted posts and drill them out with a sharp 1/8" drill bit about 3/8" deep. (Use vise grips to hold onto these guys, as they will get hot, and make sure to use some oil while you drill to keep things cooler. Slide down the plastic circularly plastic pieces (you may need small screw driver to manipulate them down) so you can re-attach the two grey release mechanism brackets.
Re-insert the two formerly riveted brackets through the frame which will locate the handlebar properly. Get two small 1/4" sheet metal screws. Put the black washer back on, apply firm pressure and screw in the 1/4" sheet metal screws into the drilled out posts with a drill.
Re-attach the seat and you are good as new.
Note: The instructions may seem a little tricky, but you can do it.

Model 815RX. where does the small red part with some contact points go and how do you install it? It fell out when I opened razor to replace batt.

Maybe this will help. On my 3605x this is the 110/220 switch. It is installed under the power connecetor with the contacts facing up towards and under the circuit board. It should have a groove in it that fits over the frame allowing it to slide back and forth. On the end that has the contacts there are 2 hooks, one on each end that act as stops/locks to keep the voltage adjustment where it is set. Drop the red switch over the frame in the slot and line it up where the the line in the outside of it is in the center. Install the power connector and set the circuit board back down where they are supposed to fit. Replace the back of the shaver and before screwing down tight make sure the switch can move to the desired voltage. Then screw together and plug in to check. I know the directions sound fuzzy but as you look at it it should become apparent where and how it fits. Hope this helps.

I cant figure out how to install the buttonhole foot

Do you just need to attach it to the machine? Or are you having trouble using the foot itself?
It attaches the same way the other feet attach. Remove any foot that may still be attached to the machine. On the buttonhole foot look for the small silver pin that sits on the sliding piece with the small red line marks on it. Lift up your presser foot lever and attach the buttonhole foot's silver pin the same way you would attach any other foot.

As far as using the foot itself place your button on the back sliding piece snuggly till it fits in without falling out, adjust as needed. Pull the bottonhole lever down (it's located on the machine opposite the side of the presser foot lever) so that it rests behind the first lever on the buttonhole foot (small plastic piece raised on the left hand side of the foot that doesn't move). Slide the feed dog switch on the back of your machine so the feed dogs go down. Select your stitch and go. The machine automatically stops when done.

Hope this helps!

How and where do you adjust the synch on 1986 gsxr

I can help with this.
On the earliest models they had slide type carburettors. This is to say that the slides were actuated by the throttle cable acting on a linkage that physically lifts the slides in the carburettors. This type of carburettor has its balance(syncronization) adjusters under the caps on top of the carburettors.(the cap isn't round & has 3 screws in it)
Number three carburettor is fixed & dosn't get adjusted.

You'll have to put the bike next to a bench & attatch a long piece of fuel hose from the tank to the fuel hose on the carburettors. You can join the two pipes together using a short piece of hose that snuggly fits on the outside or inside of the two hoses. You can also join them with a suitable shirt piece of metal pipe,or what is called here in Australia a P3 barb. These are available from tool suppliers that supply air compressor hoses & fittings.
(I made a remote tank from an old lawnmower petrol tank,a long piece of hose & mounted it on a tall stand.Under it I have a tray with all my different adaptors in it.)

You adjust number 2 cylinder to the same vacume reading as number 3 cylinder first.
Now adjust number 1 cylinder to the same vacume reading as number 2 cylinder.
Next adjust number 4 cylinder to the same vacume reading as number 3 cylinder.
Recheck that they are all the same & your done.
The adjusters are of the screw & locknut(8mm)type.
You can struggle with an 8 mm ring spanner & a flat bladed screwdriver, buy an adjusting tool(genuine, or non-genuine from a bike shop) or make one.

To make one you weld a bar onto the side(at the top)of an 8mm extended quarter inch drive socket. Then find a long small screwdriver that will fit down the hole.

After you make each adjustment, stop the engine & open the throttle wide open & release a couple of times.(This seats the slide). After diong this re-start the engine & re-check your adjustment.
I place a fan blowing on the engine to help control the engine temperature as the adjustment can be a bit of a fiddle.

I prefer to use mercuary type vacume guages as they dont go out of calibration.

If you are using dial type guages check that they are all reading the same by checking them all one by one on the same cylinder.
Some Suzukis' have a pipe (covered with a black rubber stopper) at the top of each carburettor(at the front) & others have an allen screw on the cylinder in front of the carburettor manifold rubber.
If yours has the allen screw you will also need adaptors that screw into the hole once the allen screw is removed.

If you bike has diaphram type carburettors on it(you'll be able to recognise this by the top caps of the carburettors being black & roundish in shape & held in place by 4 screws), the adjusting screws are between each carburettor & are the spring loaded type.
The adjusters are located in-between each pair of carburettors visable from the top.
These are easier to adjust as there is no lock nut to struggle with & all you need to turn the adjusting screws is a long (flat or phillips)screwdriver.
Again, balance the center two first, then the left pair then the right pair.

This procedure is applicable to all in line 4 cylinder motorcycles (even most fuel injected ones.

The pin that is holding the top to the base keeps sliding out

If you turn the mixer upside down there is a grub screw which sits underneath where the metal stand pin is, if you tighten that it'll help retain the stand pin. It's only a small grub screw, you'll need a very small screwdriver, and perhaps a torch to help you.

Two pieces of my wood laminate flooring came undone and it is in the middle of a 25X25 room is there anyway to fix that with out taking the whole floor apart. one piece is higher than the other so i need...

If you can get the toungue and groove to go back together and force the two pieces back down flat, you might consider nailing it down with a couple of small brads and then setting and filling the nail holes.
Sometimes it is possible to cut part of the tongue off one piece if the tongue is damaged and won't engage smoothly, but leave enough to keep the piece interlocked with its mate. You can cut it with a sharp utility knife by making repeated cuts.
Mask off the finished area adjacent so you don't damage it.
But why did it come up in the first place? Is it installed too tightly in the room, so that expansion due to changes in humidity has caused it to buckle?
You may need to address the underlying cause for any repair you do to last...
I hope this helps to shed a little light on a difficult situation....

Wrist band adjustment

In addition to the Pin there is also a small inner "locking" collar about 2mm long that fits into the center section of each link.

I did not notice this collar at first and it fell to the ground when I removed the first link. Without this piece the Pin's will just slide through the links with no locking mechanism.

It fits neatly into the inner portion of the link directly opposite the arrow that shows the direction of removal on the band.

Vaccum Bag

Slide the plastic piece off the cloth bag and open the top. Looking down into the cloth bag, you will see the old bag. It is secured to the machine near the top. You will find the cardboard collar about a third of the way down. Remove it carefull. Now, stand BEHIND the machine and put your knee against the back of the handle and taking the new bag, open the hole in the cardboard collar and insert the bag into the cloth bag and put the cardboard collar onto the handle fitting. It helps to put the lower part of the hole on first and then press the top of the collar onto the handle fitting. The idea of standing behind with your knee against the handle is so that as you attach the bag, you will be pushing against your knee which will steady the machine and allow you to use the required force to complete the action. Once completed, fold the top of the paper bag down, so that when you replace the top slider, the paper bag is NOT clamped between the cloth bag and the slider.
