Question about Cameras
Hi, I wonder if you could give me some advice regarding (or would be able to suggest who could repair) my SwissTec M22/37C-GB-TCD-UK? I have had the TV definitely from Jan 2009 (possibly from Jan 2008 - either way I am sure that it has run out of any warranty. It was purchased at Sainsbury's in one of their post Christmas sales and has given good daily service up to last evening when I switched it off to settle to sleep. Today when I went to turn it on I noticed that there is no red standby light and no means of switching it on from the remote or main set. I have changed the fuse and checked the electric supply which are all perfectly alright. In fact I have changed it over with my lounge set and that is running perfectly from the same socket. I have no knowledge of how these machines work but wonder if from what I can tell you if it is repairable and if it is worth what it would cost or if I would be better to dispose of it and buy new? I would be grateful for your response. thanks Elizabeth

the function light dose not represent a remote command, it simply flashes when it detects a infra red signal of any wavelenth. if the box is not turning on it sounds like a defective nor or nand flash rom. i believe that the box has a j-tag so maybe you re flash it?
so inconclusion a defective flash means no os no os means the box wont work
hope this helps
