Testing RAM in another system does not mean your current memory slots are good. Check for dust or possible slightly bent connectors within the memory slot. Use a couple drops of alcohol onto a cotton swab. Clean the memory slots contacts & the copper contacts on each dimm. Blow slots out with canned air. Allow time to dry. (If you are using a internal graphics card, remove it & clean its contacts with alcohol as well & reseat). (Please do not use an eraser from a pencil)!
Check the memory QVL list, (Qualified Vender List). See if your memory has been tested to function on your board. (OVL list is in the manual).

Check CPU fan. (Is it running)?
The average fan runs between 2000rpm & 3000rpm. This is something you can see if its running too slow.

Lastly, make sure your power supply fan or fans are running, hold your hand behind the PSU vent. Check the air, if it feels too warm blow out the PSU with a blast of air.
I have come across too many systems where the bios beep suggest there's an issue with memory & instead the trouble was the add-on graphics card or onboard graphics card.

Ram beep but no display bios jumper is clear stat bios jumper is normal then no start machine

Hello,
Please see this as reference

Continuous long beeps-RAM error
2 short beeps- BIOS error
1 long and 8 short beeps- Display Card error
1 long beep after few seconds 2 short beeps-FDC error
1 long beep after few seconds 1 short beeps-FDC is Ok
1 long beep and 2 short beeps-Display Card Error

Most probable cause is Ram memory, please try removing modules and reinserting, also try using alternately just one of them to determine which one is defective.

Start up Beep Beeps ton wy is that? whenn i start

if it is a continuos repeated beep beep sound your hdd cable is loose and if it comes at boot time only it is the sound for ram testing which says ram isok
if a continuos long sound comes and pc doesnot start it is the case of ram fault try cleaning contacts of ram and ram slot with alcohol methyl or spirit or Absolute vodka works best.

Can not reinstall os on mt acer 246lc it bleeps 4 times and swithes off

Without knowing what motherboard is in the unit - it will be difficult to determine what the 4 beeps means.

Generally, 4 beeps means issues with :

- memory
- video card
- keyboard
- motherboard failure

Things to try -

- make sure there is no keys stuck down
- remove the battery and AC adapter, remove and re-install the memory sticks (reseating the memory)

If this does not work, your problem may be more serious. Let us know the results of the above suggestions.

4 beeps & 4 flashes mean problem with the power supply. For my experience, most of the time the PSU is good, it is just overloaded.
