SOURCE: Canon Sure Shot 105 ZOOM ~TOTALLY LOST ~need any instructions I can get.

The flashing H means hat the camera has detected a hardware fault on starting up. It can also mean that the film has mis-loaded. Try removing the film & then the battery to reset it. Put the battery back & switch on. If it's still doing it then I'm afraid it's got the 'flashing "H" of Doom'. Although this is repairable, it's usually not economically viable.

Film rewinds when loaded

Align film leader at mark, then close the camera back for prewind loading. Film rewinds as each shot is exposed. Built-in motor for automatic winding/rewinding. Film advance: Automatic. Single-frame and continuous (1 fps). Automatically rewinds film leader into cartridge when designated number of frames have been exposed (midroll rewind available).

Manual Aperture Video For Canon Eos Rebel 500D T1i

Unfortunately the Canon T1i shoots video in full automatic mode. This means that if you want to change the depth of field...well, you can't. There are many angry T1i owners trying to get Canon to release a firmware update to have it perform like the T2i, but so far that has been fruitless.

So what can a budding videographer do get some artsy-looking footage with his or her T1i? The Band-Aid solution involves fooling the camera into thinking there is a manual lens attached so that the camera will relinquish control. To do this, the communication between the camera and lens has to be severed (don't worry - it doesn't involve modifying anything).

Step 1.
Put the camera into Av or Manual mode.

Step 2.
Select the desired aperture (if the aperture is "wide open" - e.g. F1.8 on the 50mm F1.8 II lens, then skip Step 3).

Step 3.
Press the depth of field preview button on the side of the camera (above the T1i or 500D logo on the curved part of the camera body).

Step 4.
With the DOF preview button still depressed, push the button as if to remove the lens, and turn it very slightly until "F00" shows up on the back display. You may now release the buttons.

Step 5.
Switch the camera to video mode. There will be a warning message, but just do as it says and shoot anyway.

You're now ready shoot some nice shallow DOF shots. Use the manual focus ring on your lens to shift the shallow depth of field around in your shot. Please note that since the camera is no longer communicating with the lens, autofocus will not be available to you. Put the lens in manual mode on the barrel to be safe - many lenses do NOT have manual override and forcing the focus ring while in AF mode can damage the lens.
Good luck and happy film-making!

How to load film

http://www.usa.canon.com/app/pdf/compact_film/Sure_Shot_Z135_manual.pdf
The link above will take you to a .PDF that is an owners manual for the Canon Sure Shot Z135
On page 14 it lists how to load film into the camera.

1. Slide the back cover downwards
2. Insert the film
- Make sure the film is positioned above the film guide
3. Pull the film tip across until it reaches the film tip marker
- Make sure the film is flat
4. Close the back cover
5. Turn the dial to (auto)
(Turn the power on)
the camera will automatically advance the film to the first frame.
6. "1" should be displayed on the frame counter

If this show zero there has been an issue, make sure you are using the proper film for the camera

I have a Canon sure shot TeleMax with broken battery box door.

Yes, it's very easy to replace, once back cover is removed.
There are no diagrams available anywhere.
You'll have to remove all screws you see and remove first front cover and then back cover.

Canon Macro Settings for 100mm lens and Sunpak 12R ring flash

Firstly, be sure to check flash voltage. Your 30D may accept max 6V so that your camera can be shot if the flash unit has higher voltage than 6V.
1. Use low ISO to keep low noise....around f/8 or more depends on your need and how much DOF you want.....Set the shutter speed around 1/125 to your max speed to stop any movement (your subject or camera itself shaking).
2. Above is set in Manual mode (iso100, f/8 1/125 or 1/250), then you just need to leave the flash to work in TTL mode.
3. It needs battery, the connection is for syncing to trigger and release a proper flash power (in TTL mode).
Hope this help!

Canon XL2 - "Check Lens" light comes on

Before shipping back, there is one routine to try:

1. Turn off. Remove battery pack and internal disk battery (right side, under coin-slot cap)
2. Move main power dial, clicking into each mode on the dial, 3 seconds each. (this discharges residual charge).
3. Twist off lens; make sure pins and contact points aren't blocked. If needed, wipe gently w/soft cloth.
4. Re-attach and reinstall batteries.
5. Cross fingers

If this doesn't fix it, the repair center will have to.

Canon IXUS40, rubber(?) seal between lens rings & body keeps popping out

It can be replaced, but requires removing the front face of the camera. Here's an example disassembly. Proceed no further than removing the front face to install the seal:

Not sure where you could find a replacement other than from another (broken) camera. The seal is mainly intended to minimize sand and grit from entering the camera, but is not necessary for operation of the camera.
