Question about Sony FD Trinitron WEGA XBRKV-40XBR800 40" TV
First thing I would try is a degaussing coil. The problem was not caused by the speakers in the TV (they are magnetically shielded) but by some kind of external magnetic field, like speakers or refrigerator magnets. Could also explain the picture shift, if it's severe enough and someone used a strong magnet.
