Go this link and download the user manual.

As you have tested the connection try to check it by connecting to a different power source. You may have to open the system because the connection on the main power board may have damaged. In that case you need to get it serviced by a qualified technician.

Thanks

Hi,

On bench testing, both the red and yellow wires must be supplied with + 12 volts. Of course the black and the body/chassis goes to the negative.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

It could be the power button itself which is not having direct contact inside it. If power test is ok, more likely its just the power button. How about try to trace circuit board where the power button is soldered or running, then try to short it. You can also try to replace the power button only.

I need to know the which color of wire goes to what pin number on the connector that on the back of alpine CDA-7995.

You need a wire harness for your vehicle make. Its like 15 bucks. You plug it into your car harness where the radio goes. It has a little peice of paper to tell you what the color codes are. You need to know what the wires on the receiver are though. For example mine are labeled with small tape that say ground, front left, right rear, Ect. Leave good feedback if this helps. Thanks

Cd player keeps going off and

Check that the fuse is good and that it is tight. Also check wire harness and all connections to the back of the player.
Another known cause of this is the ribbon cable connection between faceplate and main control can become pinched or loose.

I've had my Alpine CDA 9883 for 17 months, and the power to the display goes in and out. I've checked the wiring connections. Any ideas?

Check the face plate pins and the deck side for build up, you can scrape them w/fingernails to clean any excess dirt etc. off them, then replace the face. That's about all you can do. If the faceplate LCD is bad you can by a new one, generally 150-200 for a new face. Check with an Alpine dealer, most good custom shops are actually very helpful.Best of luck

How to connect a pioneer super tuner to a 91 honda accord

With a DC voltage tester, check the two power leads for 12+ volts and proper operation, and be sure the unit is properly grounded.

The two power leads are,

1.Constant feed: which should be connected to an un-switched power source that delivers continuous
power to the units memory.

2.Switched feed: which should be connected to a switched power source controlled by the vehicles ignition switch.

Before installing in dash check unit for proper operation.

Good luck

Connect alpine 7874 to alpine powered sub

You need to run the RCA cables from the head unit to the sub for the audio signal, and possibly a turn on wire (the blue one on the back of the head unit), unless the sub has an automatic power feature.

The sub also needs power and ground wires attached, but those do not connect to the head unit. Power should be run directly from the battery with an inline fuse, and ground should go to the nearest good ground point (Trunk latch, seat bolt, etc).
