SOURCE: How to replace the ceramic range top

you need to replace the glass top itself???that might be an expensive proposition.but heres the how to. theres 2 or3 screws along the front underside of main top. this will release the top enabling you to tip back and look underneath.not a hard job, just gonna take some patients. assuming you have the new top. its gonna be a matter of taking from one and installing on other. you will not have to undo any of the wires leading to the burner elements. instead undo the screws that are holding the elements up to the top . should be 2 brackets running lent gh of unit . undo the brackets and lay the elements down on the insulation . after removing both swap out glass and reinstall new . there will be multiple ***** holes on new glass for supporting brackets. look closely at old one for proper placement

SOURCE: Inglis electric freestanding range model #IRE3230- Oven no longer working

If the oven and the electric panel no longer work, this is an electronic problem. The burners and the oven light will not be effected, nor will the fuses. The electronics card will need to be replaced by an appliance technician.

A burner on my ceramic stove top doesn't work

Without the brand and model number, it is difficult to answer your question. There should be a reference number somewhere in your stove top. That would be your starting point, and from there, seek the needed info using the model number and make. Try a new ceramic burner assembly at that location....it's plug and play.

I have an inglis dryer and it's not heating so it appears from online searching to be a fuse problem, We don't have the manual Can I just assume the fuses are in the back and we can easily replace?

If the fuse goes on this dryer it won't run at all. It is located behind the back panel along with the heating element and the cutoff thermostat(located at the top of the heater housing). I would suspect either the element or cutoff, however its not possible for it to be the thermal fuse.

I have an electric range with a ceramic top. How do I clean it? There is bubbles on the ceramic too, is this from overheating? How do I get those off?

the main killer of glass cooktops is sugar.it fuses with the top and you cannot get it off. the best way is a razor knife scrape it at a 30 deg. angle. there are some cleaners made for smooth tops as well.good luck!
