This means that your unit is unable to dissapate the heat where it is intended to, the condenser unit. Open the top panel and check the condenser unit to see if it is clogged with debris. It will be on the rh side and looks similar to a car radiator. If it is dirty, clean it. Also, check to see if the fan is running that blows through the condenser. It should be running whenever the compressor motors are. If it is not blowing, replace it.

Loose handle on a Sub Zero 611 with stainless steel front. Used various allen keys but nothing is catching.

Unfortunatly there is no easy way to do this, but your on the right track. The handles are held in place by set screws, meaning there is not nut or bolt, the screw itself just pushes against the metal causing firmness. I found it easiest to get long allen head wrenches, lay on the floor with a flashlight, look up into the shaft and try to picture the position in you head and have at it. Persistance is the only way you'll win that battle.

Ice making for sub zero 48

The sub zero should make ice soon after being installed. If there is ice around the door frame of the freezer there may be a problem with the door frame heaters. There should not be ice around the door frame.

How do you tighten a loose handle of the fridge door? Sub zero 642

I have the Sub Zero 650. I am not sure if yours iworks same but what you do is use a 3/32 Allen wrench; as you push the handle into the screw on the door so that it is flush, you insert the Allen wrench in the hole at the bottom of the short vertical connector at top and tighten; repeat for upper or lower part of handle.

NEED ORIGINAL DOORS ON MY 561 SUB ZERO LOOKS LIKE DOORS ON FRONT

Given the model serial number I could get your decorative panels. The door itself is a framed door and designed to take a 1/4" insert. You can have new panels made if you have changed the cabinets, order stainless steel panels or put another material of your choosing. If you would like the more about the panels reply with mod and ser number which is in the freezer door jamb at eye level. Open the door past 90 degrees and look in.

There is a tiny set screw that holds that in place. It is on the bottom of the stand off and just needs to be tightened.

Sub Zero 642 - Gasket on the Door is really HOT

That is normal and is designed that way to keep moisture from forming water drops on the door seals. The "old days" used electric heaters but most now use the heat from the compressor liquid. If it's really hot you may have dust all over the condensor coils and should be cleaned to reduce the compressors heat output. Other than that, it's normal operations!
