If you want to used this CD in an Embroidery machine DO NOT FORMAT ITWITH YOUR COMPUTER because all your information will be lost.

I have a Bernina 145 S activa and I can't get my satin stitch to work , it brings the bobbin thread to the top , what can I do ?

Do you use stabilizer when you are satin stitching? I had a teacher who also hooped the fabric with a spring-loaded embroidery hoop (turned upside-down under the presser foot so the fabric is flat against the needle plate) that would keep the fabric taut.

It is not uncommon for bobbin thread to rise to the top when doing embroidery, satin stitch, etc., especially if you are using lighter-weight thread than usual. You would normally loosen the upper tension so the upper thread will sink into the fabric. However, if loosened upper tension is not doing enough, you may need to adjust bobbin tension when doing embroidery, applique... You might try tightening the bobbin tension just a smidgen to get the bobbin thread to stay below the fabric. Be sure to mark the bobbin case before making any adjustments so you can return it to the original setting when finished with the satin stitch. (If you do a lot of satin stitch or applique, etc., you may want to invest in a separate bobbin case that is set up only for doing that kind of work--saves having to alter the bobbin tension frequently.)

I need the cd that teaches you how to use the brother pe150v embroidery machine do u know where to buy please? Thank you.

You will have to contact a Brother dealer to see if they can get a DVD for you.

The operation of this model is very straight forward, if you need a manual, you can download a free one here - http://www.brother-usa.com/manuals/default.aspx?PGID=3&R3ModelID=PE150V

You can also find free tips and tutorials at http://www.embrloderylibrary.com

The easiest way to learn how to use this machine is to gather your supplies: embroidery thread (choose a few basic colors), machine embroidery bobbin thread (important to use this and not the top thread), medium weight cut away stabilizer and scraps of fabric.

Open the manual right next to the embroidery machine.

Read and follow each step.

Hoop the fabric and stabilizer and then stitch out a few of the built-in designs. The select a frame and stitch that around the design. Bump up the position of what you have stitched out and select a few letters to put under it.

It may not be perfect the first time, but if you keep playing you will soon be very proficient.

If you need more assistance as you learn, visit on-line embroidery forums such as Ann The Gran or SewForum.

Relax and enjoy a great craft.

Embroidery downloads baby lock ellure plus

If not a USB model, you have to get the disgustingly expensive Babylock palette box ($500) and software with the blank card to transfer the designs from cd or files. Beware of making the embroidery too small, it can make the stitch density too great and then the machine cannot sew the design. There is software called Density Works to deal with this problem.
