Check all the signal cables connected with the TV. If all are found OK, check the TV by tuning to an on air channel. If it do not tunes, check and replace the tuner. For more information, check the link ttp://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Can't tune in tv says no signal

It may be that the TV is set to an input which has nothing connected. There are many on modern TV's eg

AV1
AV2
HDMI
SCART
Component 1
Component 2
RGB
etc etc

Try finding a button on your remote marked "Input" and press it repeatedly to cycle thru its inputs. You may find another one works.

The screen is black and a little box that says no signal is moving around on the screen

Check your inputs. The no signal box means exactly that - there's no incoming signal for the TV to decode. So you've either disconnected a cable somewhere or turned off your input device.
Try changing the inputs on the TV (this will be a button saying input or A/V)
Try changing the channels
Check that your cables are correctly connected and that whatever you are trying to use (dvd player, PS3, etc) is turned on.
Check that your TV is tuned to the corresponding input it is plugged in to (if you plugged your DVD player into HDMI input 8, tune your TV to input 8)
Hope this helps.

Hi i have hisence 42 inch tv will not tune in keeps saying no signal yet me old tv is fine

Hi there
I am assuming your new TV is now Digital. If so, it will be looking for a different signal to the old TV which was probably analogue. You may need a aerial upgrade/diagnostic to determine if you are recieving a digital signal. Or you can tune in the analogue channels, by switching the new TV to analogue, through the inputs/menu, and then i suggest autotune.
Hope this helps

Trying to install an English freesat box in Spain is this possible as the the signal says no signal strength on the screen whats the answer anybody help us The model number is DTR2520 it is a brand new...

is a dish position , not in position, need a special signal meter, to tune the right signal, and normaly must replace the dish head, old models has low digital output signal. you need a specialist to tune the dish position and get the proper compatible dish head. for your receiver.

Screen on tv just says no signal

When installing a new antenna, a TV will often need retuning in order to operate with the new antenna.
Using your remote, access the TV's menu (settings as oppose to TV guide) and you should be able to access a tuning menu, this may be located in Picture, or have its own section.
Select the setting for automatic tuning and you should find that the TV uses the new antenna to find its channels.
