Question about Apple iPod nano

LInes on screen please help me

Hi I have an apple nano ipod 2gb. It plays but has lines going through screen. I cant see anything, I can no longer choose songs and it wont turn off when I turn it on. I defragmented it, but that didnt help. Please help me.

    Just go into your itunes and restore the factory settings, this worked for me, I just had to re add all songs, only took minutes

Try reformatting it. but if you still want to save it everything in your ipod, try to check out your lcd.. its better to see just all the lines than having problems with the drive itself. but i hope it still works and can play your songs, because it's kinda more cheaper if the problem is only the lcd :)

Screen is blank My Ipod nano 2GB Screen is blank with a light blue line in the middle! you can play the songs but you can't see anything! Help Please

Try the Five R's suggested by your user's manual - you can get the manual from Apple's website if you have lost it:
Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore

Apple iPod Nano 2gb


Connect iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked.
