Question about Epson DFX-9000 Matrix Printer
Wath i ca do when i have this error 04 for printer epson dfx-9000
Well, first things first, you should go into the control panel, open hardware, then device manager, highlight "printer" and then scan for hardware changes, if no recent changes were made, you should check if there was any "Driver updates and changes" and see when the last change/s were done. If it's not a updated driver, then it's probably a recently update to the program. if neither are relevant you can "roll back the driver". Word of warning, although it may solve the issue, it can also make things worse. Be sure to make a restore point before you start this (System Restore). Make sure it's turned on before you start any changes. If it's turned off, activate it and select "make/create a restore point" just in case. If it's already on, pick the oldest restore point you have and use it, that often fixes things. You can also try uninstalling the printer program and re-installing it, that can work also. If none suggestions work you could go through the instruction manual and see if they have any suggestions. I've included a link to the it for you. Just copy and paste into the address bar. Hope this helps. Grim
