Restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to repair your computer

you could select the option start at last known configuration that worked this will tell you if and what file has been corrupted or missing then you will know if its a hardware issue then select restart if the problem still persists f8 back into safe mode you might need to select your operating system to load into safe mode

click start control panel administration tools computer management in the left panel events + to expand then system you will see all errors in right panel right click select properties this will tell you what has occurred and the time it occurred

you might use the system restore to restore your system to an earlier time click start all programs accessories system tools you should see your system restore option if it is a hardware issue the system restore might not work
hope this help you

When I press the power button to start my 3000 K100, the fan starts and then stops immediately and the PC will not boot. There is also an odd odor like something burning. I had the power supply checked...

Open your PC case and look at all the round little tubes around your CPU fan area. They are called Capasitors and if any of them are bulging or have a brown crust on them they went bad and will need to be replaced. I've had many of PCs come in with this issue and once the caps are replaced the PC works fine again.

Hopefully this helps you out. Best of luck..

Installing windows xp into acer aspire m1640 need help the computer is falling to boot intead is showing a blue screen

The blue screen represents your Windows XP hasn't failed to install but has crashed and given you an error. The only way to fix this is to restore it to the original Windows and than try again. This mostly happends with boot leg copies of Windows XP and speaking from experience your better off buying the disc from the store so if this ever happends again your covered. If you DID buy the disc, then talk to your supplier and they should give you a new copy or install it for you.

Hope this helps ^^. Please don't forget to rate, Thanks

System will boot then shutdown. Have to unplug

try your fan on your computer chip it may be plugged or not turning and heating up and turning off, pull one side off so you can see for sure that is the most common problem for computers to do that. Hope this helps write back if that's not it and thanks for using fix-ya

then go through xp-setup again, reboot: that might do...

Intel Dual Core 2.0 GHz Sytem hangs after boot

During your boot screen press the F8 key to boot into safe mode. If that gets you to the desktop run virus/spyware scans. Reply with any results.
