Question about Washing Machines

NEC NFL-1065 washing machine won't drain or spin

My NEC NFL-1065 washing machine has decided to play up right on cue after warranty. When it gets to the rinse/spin cycle it freezes. Last night it had the Error Code  0E which means the 'The washer will not drain'. But I reset the cycle and now it just stops when it gets to the spin/drain stage (there is plenty of water in there) and the clock freezes while there is a weird electrical noise like the pump can't get started (sounds like a slight vibration of a plastic part too). I cleaned the pump filter and have drained it a couple of times but still no joy. I even sucked on the outlet drain hose but no water came through - I could hear bubbles in the machine when I blew into it. I don't think it's a blockage or mechanical problem but electrical. I hope it doesn't need a new motherboard or something... Any ideas?

yes i have the same Problem, but the best i could come up with was when it trys to drain just take out the filter plug & it will go to the next cycle.

oh by the way you do it 2 times per wash & on the 2nd time you leave it out. I did this 4 times or so & now it just work fine by it's self, hope this helps. =)

My machine is also an NEC NL-1065 and I get the code "E8" and it won't do anything. Any ideas on what it could be?

I had the same problem , I replaced the pump havent had the problem again. Then the heater element blew, (kept triping the house fuse) replaced that, then the door would'nt lock everytime, now it will fill up then give a code "E8" I think it's the mother board

Im having the same problem. I pulled out the drain pump and the plastic head on it has come off the metal spindle. $77 to replace it seems. Looking for a cheaper option.

H6 error code on a NEC NFL-1065 washing machine

see this causes, and fix it. God bless you
If the washer stops mid cycle the timer might be defective. This part is often misdiagnosed, check other components before replacing this timer.
f the washer stops mid-cycle the main control board might be defective. This is not common. Check other causes first such as the lid or door switch and other components
f the washer stops mid cycle the water inlet valve cold water side may have failed. Most washers have a cold water rinse and so if they can't fill with cold water they just sit indefinitely waiting for the cold water to enter. If there is cold water to the water inlet valve and the cold water works in other parts of the cycle - or to make warm water - the valve is not the problem.
If the washer stops mid cycle the door lock assembly should be checked. The door lock can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any switches on the door lock with an Ohm meter. The switches should have continuity according to their design
If the washer stops mid cycle the lid switch assembly might be defective. This is a very common problem. The lid switch assembly can fail either mechanically or electrically. Test any electrical switches with an Ohm meter for continuity. The switches should have continuity according to their design.

Fast spin not working. drum going round and draining but not spinning. Help!!!!

Possible there is no drive voltage to the motor at this point of cycle, could be due to fault in the controller unit.
Need to check the voltage on the unit to confirm this case as the drain gets connected..

YES ! there is something else , check the little MOTOR that is attached to the drain hose , take it out , take it apart and check if there s some stuff blocking the motor inside ,hopefully this will take care of the problem .
