I found out from Hilti by E-mail that I needed to use grease type (Notropeen LXG00). I searched that to be equal to (Stihl MM Gear lub.) which I bought from a local Stihl dealer and I put the grease in through the hole in the top of the gear housing under the one piece seal. I used a plastic tube on an air nozzel and a needle tip attached to the tube. It all worked well.

I thank you for your comment.

The grease is called turmoil grease and is somewhat expensive. This also requires just about complete disassembly of the tool and smoe parts replacement.

Have Hilte TE5 and can not turn the end to make tbit stay in plce. I think one of the ball bearings in there is missing. Who has paarts formy TE5 ?

In the US you can contact Hilti @ 1-800-879-8000
The easiest way to repair your drill would be to replace the whole chuck. It will just snap on and off.

Where should I grease the hilti 7c

You should not have to grease The TE-7. It is permantly lubricated. You can occasionally put a small ball of grease on the end of a drill bit before you stick in the chuck. This will keep the chuck greased.

Te70 hilti hammer drill

The TE-70 is permantly lubricated. You would only add lubricant if you took the tool apart. You can add a small amount of grease to the end of your bit occasionally before putting in the chuck. This keeps the chuck parts lubed.

Cordless Hammer Drill Sfh 151 A 2.0Ah: Hi, How do you change the chuck on the Hilti SF 15...

Hi. open the chuck to the max. inside the chuck you will see a screw. remove it. put the drill in reverse. hold the chuck. a vice may be needed. pull the trigger. this may work, however in my experience, they are very tricky to get off. I have never had a faulty chuck but have had many faulty gearboxes. i have had to buy ney chuck to fit with the new gearboxes because i couldn't get the good chuck of the damaged gear box. good luck.

Hilti te5 motor turning but not driving chuck

While the drill is running grab the chuck and turn it by hand. If you here a grinding noise that tells you the rotor gear is stripped.

Slow te5

Bring it in to a factory service center. They will give you an estimate on how much it cost to repair it. Then you can decide to chuck it or not. Also hilti will give you a trade in for your gun if you decide to buy a new one.

Here is a link to find a service center in your area:

Hilti TE-5 does not drill

Check the motor if the motor has power and then the gears are not working. If the motor doesnt have any power then you need to check for power. To get at the gears you are going to need to remove the chuck

I have a Hilti Hammer Drill model TE5

Tip - Get a can of PB Blaster from your local hardware store and spray a little into the bit holder. Use a long screwdriver and push down the piston. Hit the switch for a minute, letting it work in. Put a bit in and get to drilling. Unless its old, then the o-rings may just be worn out. That stuff does recondition o-rings too. Lemme know. Please rate me
