SOURCE: I got LT133 JD I don"t know how to adjust the

You mean the jets? In the carb? I don't think the valves are needle valves. There is a guy on you tube who does lawnmower service, he looks like a misfit but he has been building lawn mowers since 4th grade. He shows just about everything, I think his name is the farm or something like that, just type in lawnmower and you will find him. Check it out.

My john deere lt133 i bought a couple days ago cut good a few times then wouldnt start checked the oil found gas had gotten in could this be from me not correctly turning on the mower and turning it off or...

If your JD has a float type carb, the problem lies in there as the float is bad or the needle stuck in the open position allowing gas into the crankcase via the cylinder. rebuild the carb and check the float to make sure there is no holein it causing it to sink. Needle and seat should be replaced and new one adjusted. Also you may want to change out the oil with the gas in it as it will destroy the bottom end of your motor if left mixed in.

Gas tanks subject to road contions causing serious leaks

Gas tanks are very dangerous to deal with. There are putty that you can buy to patch the holes. I don't recommend you take down the gas tank and fix it yourself since it is a very dangerous procedure. Leave that to the mechanic shop.

I have a John Deere LT133 w/13hp Kohler motor. Problem

I had the same mower in my shop with the same prob. Last week, here is what i did to correct the problem, take the fuel line apart at the fuel filter, open the fuel cap and drain the gas from the tank, once it stops i took couple old walmart bags and compressed air to slowly blow air in to the tank to blow the residue and trash out of the fuel tank. Next using compressed air to blow through the fuel line from where the filter was toward the carb. Next unbolt the carb and remove the fuel bowl, take the small pin holding the float out and slowly remove the float pulling strait up as the needle will be attached via a small channel on the float. There is where you will find the seat which the needle you extracted sets in to stop or allow the fuel to flow. Clean these parts and area WELL. i usually take the air screws out and use carb cleaner to clean those areas as well. Reinstall the needle and float, pin assembly and the bowl. Reinstall the carb , and make SURE to install a new fuel filter not exceeding the last filters micron flow, double check all connections, clamps, and hardware, add new FRESH gasoline with no less than 89 octane at any time, engine should fire and run as intended.

Gas leak

so you have a hole in your tank somewhere. or leaky fuel **** gasket. firstly you need to find the leak. or is your gas just flowing right thru your carbs and out the overflow? shut off fuel to eliminate carbs. if it stops leaking then its probably gummed up carb floats. use Berrymans B12 fuel additive this will work into the carb and hopefully break down the gum. or strip and clean them by hand with a good spray carb cleaner. or remove air cleaner and spray directly into carb and let sit for a few days.
if it's a gas tank leak then you will have to get it lined, (liquid sealer) so long as the hole is not too big. if it is then drain and dry the tank, get it welded professionally or patch it with a filler or fiberglass and then get it sealed, i used my local radiator repair shop to het mine done.
