Yes it can, strip the wire's off, re-connect them & tape well with electrical tape avoiding any shorts & you should be working again.

SOURCE: Right speaker in headphone wire is broken or

The wire connection inside the cable is broken. You can disassemble it, cut the wire past the broken point (usually where it makes a sharp bend) and re-solder it. If the wire is too short, you need to get an new wire or get the wire from a donor headphone and replace it.

All of a sudden sound is not coming in one of the channels (right). On pressing the headphone's band a bit sound comes on and goes off.

The cable connects to one headphone and then through the headband to the other side.

I sounds like the cable connecting them that runs through the headband has been damaged.

The only solution is the try and remove the cover from the headband and repair the cable.

Please leave feedback

Cheers

The headphone jack that goes into the device broke off. Can the wires be soldered back on? If so I see three colors. Red, Blue, and bare copper. Which one goes where on the jack. Do they sell replacement...

Red is for the left speaker, blue for the right and the copper one is the ground. Replacement 3.5mm jacks should be available at all hobby shops. Solder it yourself; the left wire goes to the central connection.

Plastic piece broke on headphone where wire comes out too hold the headphone on the head band part. can i buy the small piece because it cracked headphone is the Ear Force X-52 5.1

If the headphones are expensive, you might be able to buy the piece from the manufacturer or possibly even through an ebay or "froogle" search ( http://froogle.com ).

If you can't do that, your main options are super-glue or fabricating something. I've sometimes had luck doing that, but if the area of contact for the super-glue is small and irregular, it may not be able to be repaired reasonably and cleanly. Of course, if you don't mind appearance and it being fragile, sometimes clever applications of cloth and electrical tape can go a long way.

How to Rewire Sony MDR-7506 headphones

Okay, cut and strip the cord. There should be two copper wires and (on Sony headphones, at least) a red and a green strand. On a new 1/8" jack, there should be three connections. The middle one is left, and is where the green one goes. The short one on the side is right, and is where the red one goes. The long bit is the common, and is where the copper one goes. Before you solder, however, remember which strand is which, because you have to sand or burn off the colored enamel. (Use a fine grain paper, or use a standard lighter or stick match- anything else might damage or melt the wire)
