I have a metal roof and need to know what external antenna would be best. I have been disappointed with AT&T's Broadband.

The bars that signal intensity of the cellular network have gone from a full bars to none or just a very few in one day and I have been at the same location for years

There may be interference in the environment that you are in. It could be a few different things like buildings or new radio towers that may interfere with the signal. I put a metal roof on my house and that had dropped my signal a few bars for the fact that the roof is reflecting the signal more than just a shingle roof would have. You can get a signal amplifier for your specific frequency of carrier. There some for your home that act like a wifi repeater inside your house that will give you a better signal. There are lots out there so make sure you get the right one. Go to a search engine like google and search for your phones brand, model # and service provider for example ( "Samsung sgh-s9875 AT&T" cell phone signal booster) put your info of your phone where the quotes are but leave the quotes out. I had put one here to give you an idea of what to look for. It may or may not work for your case.

Do you live in an area with good reception? If not then that is the problem. If you do live in an area with good reception then the problem could lie with the software of with the hardware. If the problem is in the software a master reset should help, if not a flash of the firmware is required. If it still doesn;t help then the it's hardware related...meaning something to do with the antenna of the phone. It could either be damaged or disconnected from the board of the phone...which in this case the phone needs to be serviced.

How many pc can i connect with usb connect 881

At least three--that's what I do. I have the 881 docked in a Cradlepoint router with a wireless access point. The 881 provides internet access to all. Been doing it for almost 3 years--no complaints.

No cb signals from new units

Good power supplies and good quality coax is important also.
Check SWR too.

Get a External SWR meter:
with the switch in FWD position, key radio and use the CAL knob to set the meter so the needle is just touching the end of the red area on the right-hand side of the meter.
Once calibrated, unkey and switch the switch to REF and key up again. The lower the reading, the better. Check the SWR on channel 1 and channel 40. If the SWR is Higher on 40, the antenna needs to be shorter.. if its higher on 1, then the antenna needs to be longer. Assuming the antenna is adjustable, of course.
