My Canon Printer is displaying a lot of errors. It is only 1 1/2 years old, so out of warranty. It first said there was a paper jam, which I couldn't find. Then error 6A00 that doesn't come up anymore now it alternates between 5110, 5C20 and 5100. Mainly 5C20 though and I can't find any info on it. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I just replaced my MP810 printer head. Procedure: open printer - remove ink cartridges - Pick up arm located on right side of cartridge holder- remove printer head by picking up by the cartridge slots. Place new printer head in holder - replace printer cartridges - press arm down and your done....However, the error message stays on and reset procedure doesn't remove it. Canon tech support said their solution (because of distance from canon support) is to replace MP810 with comparable printer, which came to $299 with 15% discount and free shipping. My solution, I’m checking out other printers.

That error code refers to the AP position during the purge operation., basically is means there is an error in the purge unit of the printer, either the purge unit is out of position or there was a power issue while the printer was shutting down. So it could be as simple as removing any foreign object in purge unit or it could be the sheet feed unit, the logic board or the purge unit.
I hope this helps you to understand what the printer needs. Good Luck with it.
have had a MP810 about 3 months. Recently I've been getting a U150
error message. My C tank is not lighting up and being recognised. When
I open up and replace the tank the light comes on. Initially this
allowed me to carry on printing but now I have a constant error message
even after replacing the tank. Is there a permanent solution to this annoying problem? I would be grateful for any assistance.
