Question about Samsung 55 UN55D8000 55 3D LCD TV

Open Question

UN55D8000 fuzzy I bought a Samsung UN55D8000 about 2 months ago and I am not happy with the picture at all! I am only watching HD chanels and the pictures are not clear enough. I even switched from ATT UVerse to Time Warner, the installer checked all my cables and I bought the most expensive HDMI Monster cable and the picture is still not good, not crisp, fuzzy, edges of people are jagged, etc...I have checked every adjustment possible on the settings...any suggestions?

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Samsung 40 no picture

I bought a 40" LNT4061F Samsung Flat Screen 02/15/08 and 10 days later the picture went out on me. I was just watching TV when all the sudden the TV turned off on its own. I turned it back on and got a blank white screen. I couldn't even get the menu to appear. The sound was there, but no picture. I called Samsung for help and they said that they would have to send out a service tech. This all happened Sunday, the 24th of February. They said that I would hear from a service tech in 24 to 48 hours. Well 24 hours is up, I hope I hear from them tommorrow. I'll give an update when something happens so that others may know what to expect.

SOURCE: Samsung HDMI issue

Have you try to replace your HDMI cable?I recommend you to pick up a good Monster HD700 HDMI cable from a local retail store like best buy or circuit city.In case it isn't the cable problem, you could return it.
However, when you are a using the HDMI cable,it is normally either have both picture and sound or nothing at all.Are you sure you didn't hook up the audio OUTPUT from your TV back to a receiver input?
Or even an optical output from the TV to the receiver?

SOURCE: Picture Is Too Big for Screen

Sounds like your cable box is zoomed in, I run into this a lot when running service calls. On most cable provider's remotes there is an 'aspect' button next to or around the '0'. Try that and see if it helps you out at all :)

This trouble is commonly cause by a weak signal, try to check all the jacks that is connected to your lcd and dvd there might be a loosed connection.

Cannot view camcorder slides on television taking film of holiday but cannot watch on television as all fuzzy

Unless you have an HD (High Definition) camcorder, the resolution of the video (or pictures) taken may be too low for it to show well on a (large) TV screen. Hence, you'll see the videos/pictures as blurred/fuzzy

Just bought the Samsung 550 Plasma Hd Tv can you tell me if we just use a regular cable from the wall to the Tv will the picture quality be sort of off.. WE have an HM MI cable from the cable box to the TV...

unfortunately cable does not give you the best quality picture and "fuzziness ' is the reduced resolution being displayed on the tv.
the easy way to check the picture quality is to get a decent hd antenna and scan using it for free hdtv signals, if these are also fuzzy, on all channels then the tv has a problem but if it is only on a few lower resolution channels then its just the way it is until everyone is hd 720 or better.

It could be dirt/smudge creating the fuzzy on the left frame. Try having it professionally cleaned, or I am sure there are products you can buy on the market to do it yourself.

eg. a eye glasses cloth.

Changing Screen Size on Samsung HP-R4272

you must not have the correct picture settings in the cable box, as although they are not HD they will still be widescreen, so check both tv and box for picture settings.
