SOLUTION: I was just having this problem with mines but I was able to fix it. The I don't much about any memory overload or anything (I only do simple add and subtract computations). First I removed the cover and removed the paper from the feed (its a pain I know to reload but you want you're calculater fixed right?). Next I removed the ink roller (it's marked 'PULL UP'). Then after some tinkering, nudged the numerical stamp to the left 2-3 times which immediately started the feed right up. My explanation is that the printer had gotten jammed/off track causing the FEED to stop working. You'll know it definitely if you hear a low quick hum each time you switch to the print function which is probably the little motor saying 'hey, umm I would print if I was connected to a printer!'. Happy Calculating!

SOURCE: Canon P23-DH

I don't think the P23-DH has a calendar/clock mode. I have found the instructions for setting date and time for the P23-DH V. If your calculator does not have [Calendar/Clock], [Time Set], and [AM/PM] keys, you cannot set the date and time.

To set date:
1. Press the [Calendar/Clock] key once
2. Press and hold the [Time Set] key for three seconds
3. Enter the date in MMDDYYYY format
4. Press the [Time Set] key
5. Press the [C/CE] key

To set time:
1. Press the [Calendar/Clock] key twice
2. Press and hold the [Time Set] key for three seconds
3. Enter the date in HHMM format, press [AM/PM] key if necessary
4. Press the [Time Set] key
5. Press the [C/CE] key

If you want to change the date press the button that looks like a calender and clock. When this occurs it toggles between the date and times.

Next hold down the M+= button. (Above this button is a print that says Clock/Date Set).

While holding this button down the date will start to flash. At this point start keying in the date of your choice.

After you have completed press Clock/Date Set (M+= button) again.

Follow same steps for date.

SOURCE: We can't figure out how to feed the new paper into

The calculator wouldn't take the paper but when he cut the corners off the paper to make a blunt "V", it grabbed the paper right away and pulled it through.

SOURCE: how do you load paper into a canon p23-dh v

For loading paper into canon p23-dh v is to cut a piece of index card to the length of 3 inches and to the width of the paper you want to load. Tape evenly to the end of the paper roll and put into the ****, pushing gently in and at the same time pressing the 'Feed" button. It will immediately feed since it is firmer than the Poat-it paper.

How To Take A Screen Shot Using a Windows Computer

Often times, it is useful to be able to show other people exactly what is on your computer screen. However, often times they are not with you. To solve this problem, take a screen shot and send it to them. Note that this tip only works with Microsoft Windows computers (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, etc.)
  1. To take a screen shot, simply press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. This might say "Print Screen," or "PRT SC". Pressing this will take a virtual picture of everything on your screen.
  2. Open Microsoft Paint. If you don't know where Microsoft Paint is located on your computer, press the Windows Key and type "Microsoft Paint" in the box, and then select the program.
  3. Once you are in Paint, select "Paste," or press "CTRL+V".
  4. Save your screen shot to whatever location you choose by selecting File>Save As, or by simply pressing "CTRL+S".
  5. If you don't want to save your screen shot, but want to email it to somebody, you can paste it directly into the body of an email by pressing "CTRL+V" or by selecting "Paste" from the right-click menu.
  6. If you want to take a screen shot of only one window, first select the window you would like, and then press "ALT+PRT SC". Follow the above steps to save it or email it.

There you have it. Taking a screen shot and showing anybody exactly what is on your screen is simple if you follow these easy instructions.

Second remote won't work

DISH here, hi Tom! I ran across your post and would like to help with the solution. First we need to make sure the receiver is on Dual Mode. On the front of the receiver under Mode' make sure the light is on Dual also make sure the remote that's not currently working is on SAT mode. You can check this by trying to change channels using the remote and making sure the SAT button is the only that light up at the top. If both of this procedures do not work, we will need to address the remote to the receiver. To address the remote to the receiver: bring the remote to the t.v one localtion which is where the receiver itself is, by using remote number on press menu twice, a screen called System Info should appear on the screen. Once you have accessed the System Info screen, toward the bottom of the screen there should be something that says Remote address one and two and each will have a white box next to them with a number in it. Then grab the remote that's not working and press and hold the SAT button until all the light at the top light up, release the button and enter the the number 15 followed by the pound key (15#) after this press the record button 3 times. Verify that the number that was in Secondary Remote Address is now showing 15. Now, using remote one select cancel out of the System Info screen. If you have any issues please feel free to email me at kimberly.escobar@dish.com

Wont go into phone mode

Assuming you've tried pulling the battery and booting it again, you could try doing a hard reset on the phone (this would erase all data on the phone), by starting up the phone while holding down the volume up button while turning the phone on, waiting until you get a white screen with 3 skateboarding androids on it, and select clear storage (use the up/down volume buttons to move the cursor, power button to select), then volume up to confirm. If the phone still won't boot up after doing that, you're going to have to take it to a store, as that boot menu is the only thing that you can get to come up if it won't boot all the way up.

I have a compaq presario cq56-104ca i reformat it to windows 7 ultimate 32bit from home premium 64bit. but now it won't start past the boot screen it freezes when it reaches there. and if i try to...

See if this works otherwise you will have to reload the Operating System in your system.
Switch
ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode' by continuously tapping F8 button after you switch On until you get the Safe Mode Option.

Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.

1. Open the Start Menu.

A) Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore.

2. Open the Control Panel (All Items View).

A) Click on the Recovery icon.
B) Click on the Open System Restore button.

A 'System Restore' window will appear. Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time'

A) Click on the Next button

Now you will find a window with Dates, Description and Type,

Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.

The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start. Click on the Finish button and windows will take a reboot.

If you feel that my answers have helped you getting solution to your problems then please give a vote.

I have an Oster Bread Machine model 5839. The display and timer work but nothing else does.

Addressing Power-up/Start-up Issues:

1. Unplug the breadmaker.

2. Confirm the power source you're accessing is live using a blender, toaster, etc.

3. Plug the breadmaker in.

4. Confirm the breadmaker is receiving power:

    1. Some models have a built-in off/on switch. Turn it to the ON position.
    2. Some models make an audible tone when plugged in.
    3. Some models have a colored light and/or a lighted display screen that lights up.
    4. Some models require you press the Select button down until the unit powers up.
    5. Some models require you press the Start button down until the unit powers up.
    6. Some models require you press the Select button first to select a mode, then press the Start button.

3. No, you were not able to confirm that your breadmaker is receiving power? Sorry to hear that. Attempt to have the breadmaker serviced by a small appliance repair facility or simply discard it.

4. Yes, you have confirmed that your breadmaker is receiving power? Fantastic! Now reboot the breadmaker's electronics by pressing down continuously on the Start button until you notice a visible and/or audible confirmation, usually within 5 to 10 seconds. Beware: Some models require you press the Select button first to select a mode, then press and hold the Start button to reboot the system.

Often the + and - Timer Delay buttons are pressed by mistake, delaying Start by up to 12 hours. If you suspect the Timer Delay feature has been engaged accidentally, you'll need to reboot the breadmaker's electronics. You can do this by pressing down on the Start button continuously until you notice a visible and/or audible confirmation, usually within 5 to 10 seconds. Beware: Some models require you press the Select button first to select a mode, then press and hold the Start button to reboot the system.

All breadmaker use a belt and pulley system. If your breadmaker powers-up but the mixer won't turn when it's supposed to, your belt is probably broken. You

VIK ROSE 45010050 Stitch size button will go up but not down in size...

Possibly the touch pad is bad. Are they any other buttons that don't work? Usually when the touch pad is bad other buttons won't work either. If only the stitch length won't work then the step motor for the feed is bad or you have a bad board.
