your sure the defrost cycle works? sounds to me its not. you need to remove the freezer back and check the defrost components. or put it in the defrost cycle and see if it is working. to get that much frost as you describe the dor would have to be left open. also check all door seals. let me know what you find and we can go from there

Freezer frosting up and refrigerator is warm

check the condenser fan in the lower back to make sure its running,if it quits the compressor will cycle on and off to cool itself instead of the fan doing this operation, and the unit will warm up inside, then the compressor will again restart and any condensation in the unit will refreeze and cause frost

Water leaks inside

It's due to wrong temp setting and malfunction of defrost cycling. Keep thermostat setting at 5 degree or little less. And don't keep it in minus,as defrost cycle will take longer time. And also you will get less cooling in fridge compartment and also water leaks.Check drain line hose may freezed. And also freezer tray get blocked due to over frosting around freezer. Defrost manually by unplug your fridge and after defrost all ices, plug again and keep correct temp setting. Thanks.

I have side by side KSRA25ILSS and last week I have noticed-freeser is working OK,but refrigerator-too warm .I reseted sys. couple times, but coudnt fix problem. What is my next step, please?

you will need to check the damper control and make sure the door is opening properly to allow the cold air in the fridge this damper is normally located in the back f the fridge top left side.

then you will need to check the freezer compartment and make sure there is not alot of ice or frost build up.You will also need to make sure the evaporator fan is running in the freezer comprtment.

If there is frost or ice build up you can use a blow dryer to defrost it then remove the back panel and defrost the evap coil.you will need to check the defrost heater and temp sensor be sure there are all working good.

Freezer ok, but refigerator is warm

first check to see if the controls have been changed,
one of the dials control overall cooling (freeser) and the other controls a damper that allows cold air from the freeser to travel to the refrigerator.
the other solution could be that there is something in the freeser, food or ice blocking the vent.
one other possibility is that the damper is stuck or frozen still.
if your freezer is ok, it is not a serious problem

Whirlpool arc7612. Fridge not getting cold. Freezer obviously working as it frosts up despite being 'frost free'. Slight gap in door seal near top of door. Last time we had this happen I unplugged it for a...

You have to replace the door seal. The seal may be a mundane technology and it isn't the only technology making a refrigerator frost-free, but it is the most important one. Warm moist air enters through the gap in the door seal, condenses on cold surfaces and freezes. The frost interferes with airflow and prevents the system from keeping the fridge cold. Turning it off for a day allowed the frost to melt.
