Question about KitchenAid KP2671 Professional 6 Series Stand Mixer
My son and I were baking and he dropped the measuring cup into the mixer while it was on. It now makes a clicking noise and freezes up. thanks to anyone for their help!!!!!!!
It sounds like you may have broken the gear in the head of the mixer. I would call this a Advanced fix since you need to press the pin out of the shaft to put the new gear on. The parts are available from online parts stores, and the manuals and part lists are available from KitchenAid HERE.
