Im trying to change phonecode on phone but message keeps coming up that phonecode is locked.ive phoned my 02 customer service but they say they dont know whats wrong with the phone,im trying to have the added security on my phone,ie if ive used my phone then leave it for a couple of minutes,if i then go to use it again it asks for my pin number,i want this facility back on my phone so that nobody can access my phone without knowing the pin number.i dont know if the phonecode is anything to do with this,but as it stands now,anyone can access my phone,i need it protecting.please can you help.customer service say that i may need it resetting to manufactures code.

Samsung cell phones come with many security features.
In addition to the common feature of preventing calls after
a period of inactivity, some Samsung phones also allow you to prevent others'
use of your phone's SIM chip and access to your files.
One password unlocks the various locks, except for two other
passwords used for the SIM chip. The syntax of the menu items to click to reset
a password differ somewhat between Samsung models but you can figure out
roughly how to apply instructions for one phone to another.
Lock the phone from making calls by clicking "Start" or "Menu,"
"Security Settings" (or "More" and then "Security"), and "Phone Lock" or
Change the password by clicking "Start" or "Menu," "Security
Settings," and "Change Password." Then enter a new password.
Set the phone to work only with the current SIM chip by
clicking "Menu," "Security Settings," and "SIM Lock."
Enter a new password when prompted.
Prevent unauthorized use of your SIM card by clicking
"Menu," "Security Settings," and "PIN Lock." Type a new PIN when prompted.
Prohibit access to your files, messages and contact list

Do a hard reset. Its very simple just press *#7370#. Then it requests for the security key which is 12345 by default or enter your security code if you have changed the security code.. If it is the phone lock code, your phone must request for the PUK code, you can have it at the pack of your sim card when you bought it. if the PUK is blocked, you need to change your sim card (default cade for new sim is 1234) or contact your operator if they can still activate it for you.

hi there, call the customer service of your service provider ( O2 )....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options cheers
usually your able to go into the menu and the either options or settings and click on security! but some phones are so dang complicated. lol here is what ive found its a razr 2 v9 right?its from the motorola website
