Rf modulator cuts in and out

After buying a brand new GE RF modulator 37632 from wal-mart and hooking it up to a TV and game console, the red light on the front cuts out whenever the game pauses to load any new screen and the picture turns to static before adjusting and returning. Every time any system loads. Tested 2 tvs, 3 game systems, running it through a DVD player first, same results. The box specifically says this product should work for video game systems.

SOURCE: It will not turn on

Most units have a fuse on the circuit board that must be soldered on. Some power supply components can be replaced through www.digikey.com or www.mouser.com . You can remove power and disassemble the unit. Look for items on the pc board nearest the power plug. Probable failures are usually integrated circuits and are usually black with silver leads. The part number is usually on the top or side and if you enter the part number into the search page of digikey or mouser and the ic is common, you can display a data sheet that tells you what the device is and how it operates.

My tv cannot connect with my dvd player

If there are no A/V jacks on the set you can get a RF modulator. They are cheap on Ebay and work great. You can also buy them at Wal-Mart etc. All you would do is plug in your A/V plugs into the RF modulator and then plug in a coaxial cable on the output of the box then plug the other end to the input coaxial cable jack on the TV. Make sure your TV is on the channel your RF modulator specifies.

I am trying to connect a DVD player to a RCA F25216BC 25" TV - the TV only has an F type Coax connector and does not have a CH 3 or 4 switch - I put the input from the wall to the DVD player and out to the...

Your TV must be equipped with AV inputs (RCA jacks - yellow, white, red)
in order to connect this unit. If your TV does not have AV inputs, you will need a RF Modulator to connect the DVD recorder to your TV's
antenna/cable input. RF Modulators are available at
major electronics retailers such as Radio Shack or Wal-Mart and allow the 3 RCA outs from the recorder to connect to the RF modulator RCA inputs and then you can connect a coaxial cable from the modulator to the TV RF input and select channel 3 or 4 on the TV. The DVD recorder will not pass thru signals to the TV using coaxial cable as far as DVD are concerned.

We just got a model 25TR15 C122 from my sister. Can we add a DVD player? We only see one plug for the cable and do not know how to hook it up.

What you need is called an RF converter (available at most electronic stores or Wal-Mart for around $20.00). The RF convertor works so that you can watch your DVD on your TV through Channel 3. The DVD hooks to your RF converter by RCA jacks (yellow, red and White) and the cable that goes to your tv now is hooked into the RF converter and another cable is than hooked out from the RF converter to your TV. Set the TV on Channel 3 (or 4) and the dvd will automatically play through

Hi, yes you can, you will have to go to Wal-Mart or Radio Shack and buy a RF adapter and it will allow you to plug the Wii into that and then plug it into the antenna socket on the T.V.

How are your gaming systems connected to your television?
This could be as simple as having your component video cables hooked up incorrectly.
If you're using an RF modulator to connect a gaming system, it's likely that it's no good anymore.  Best Buy sells them for $10.

Your TV. Try it on a friends' TV using the proper cables and whatnot and see if that is the prob. I reckon it would be. Oldarse TV's may not handle the newer signal well..

Magnavox MWR10D6 can't record from camcorder wrong channel

OK...try this...plug your RCA cables from your camcorder into the RCA input jacks on the back of the recorder. If you have a VCR, it can be plugged into the coax input on the back of the recorder. Use the coax output and plug it into a RF modulator (about $20 at Wal Mart). Plug the RCA output cables from the recorder into the RF modulator as well (Don't ask me why, but it seems to work on mine). Connect a coax cable from the RF modulator to the TV. Make sure the TV and Recorder are both on the right channel. The RF modulator will have a channel switch to use channel 3 or 4 on the TV. Make sure the recorder is set to E1 (Rear). You can check this with the channel +/- buttons on the bottom right of the remote. Good luck.
