Model R163GK router. Where can I get a working manual?

The user's manual for the Ryobi R163GK fixed base router is available from Home Depot on the product page: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-8-5-Amp-Fixed-Base-Router-R163GK/205179539 . Look on the right hand side of the page for the Use and Care Manual. The direct link to the manual is http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfimages/de/deaea807-a602-4a2e-b637-e30019a5f34f.pdf .

I hope this helps. I think the K indicates that the unit was for Home Depot sales; the router is the same as the R163/R163G. Ryobi has the same manual here, https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/support/manuals , if you leave off the K.

What is the max plunge depth of a park side combination cutter

what model and year? and what is preventing you from measuring it?

switch off the machine and better still unplug it as well from power (positive insulation)

retract the bit till is flash with with the table slide or below, crank it till it is flush with surface. that is your zero point, crank it now till installed cutting blade is fully extended, measure exposed bit - that is your maximum cutting (effective) depth, never, ever use your cutter on maximum depth on single go, you will burn the blade, most probably destroy the piece and lucky if not burn the motor...

if your exposed blade high is greater than 25mm (1") on single or two blades cut in two or better three stages, if you have three or four blades and machine will support that power, you cut that then in single bit

do not overheat bits, it is better to plunge slowly and retract to allow waste removal than in single go destroy bit and material...

if this help - do not forget to vote...

What hp router is best to make cabinet raised doors

I used to use a Ryobi 2.5 hp and it worked fine but if you are concerned go higher hp. It's probably more important that the router is a variable speed model. The bigger the size of cutter required for raised panel doors the more torque and revs are produced. You need to ensure starting on slowest speed and adjust up to speed required. Speed should be based on size of cutter and to me is set by sound( a nice hum, not screaming) and vibration( NO VIBRATION)! The cut needs to be done in several passes, maintaining constant feed speed,( don't burn your expensive cutter) allowing cutter and machine to do work maintaining the hum and no vibration. And of course set your guards etc!! If this is on going work for you perhaps look into a spindle moulder with attachment to take router cutters

My Ryobi router is not working at all. It spins

It can be any number of things that cause this:
1. Broken power cord
2. Failed on off switch
3. Failed trigger switch
4, Brush or brush tube assy failure (Most common failures)
5. Open armature winding
6. Open field winding

If you can not get continuity across the power cord with the switch on and trigger switch depressed yhe only option for further troubleshooting is to open the unit.

You can go to this page then click on go to power tools store and under model number use R161
http://www.ryobitools.com/support/parts_batteries

The manual lists all 50 parts in your unit.

Item 16: Brush assy part # 968304-026

Manual for Ryobi R1801m1 router

http://ryobitools.arinet.com/scripts/EmpartISAPI.dll?MF

I think you mean R180 router. This is Ryobi's site the manual section. Even if your particular router is not listed you should be able to draw from the information listed for similar router there.
