Question about Kitchen Ranges

EO F2 code

Kenmore Ultra Bake Oven reads a code EOF2 . it will not work. Ours is a Kenmore Ultrabake but it is not a double oven. When pre-heating the oven, it will beep (once I believe) and stop pre-heating. When not pre-heating, it will occasionally beep and stop displaying the time. When either of these occur, it displays EO F2.

Hi, this appears to be a fault caused by a short in your keypad - electronic range control (ERC)

this needs to be replaced unfortunatly.

To assist you finding the proper part your model numbel means that the oven is manufactured by Whirlpool for Sears/kenmore.

Oven will not pre-heat properly

you might want to check where the thermometer is located on older models it can be knocked out of position perhaps to close to the roof of the oven which gives false heat reading

My kenmore oven is displaying ED F2 whats the problem?

So is mine, although I thought it was E0 F2. Everything I can find says to replace the electronic oven control. My oven did this about 6 months ago and I saw something online that said to unplug the oven, push each button to see if one is stuck, and then plug the oven back in. This worked for me previously, but hasn't worked this time.

I have a Whirlpool Accubake System stove / oven. About 50 p% of the time I go to push the "Bake" and "Start" button, it goes to "Cal" or "EO -F2-" what ever that is. It won't let me clear it . Needless to say I am not happy with the fact that when I go to bake something, the oven doesn't work!!! Please help!

Control Panel Display Reading

mommaT, the code has to do with the keypad, key held down too long or stuck or shorted keypad. Have someone remove the key pad ribbon cable from the control board and clean the ends with an eraser. If that doesn't do it, you may need a new keypad. back
