Question about Canon imageRUNNER C3220 Color Copier
I installed the copier on a network and all the XP and 98 machines see it but the Vista machines don't. I downloaded the Vista upgrade from canon and it installed. When I go to print it send back a job accounting error. When I log on with an XP machine with the same job accounting number and password no problem. I can also go directly to the Copier with Explorer using the ip address on the XP machines. When I try on the Vista I get an error saying the location is not set up to communicate with World Wide Web (HTTP) with this machine
Make sure there are no firewalls turned on any desktop. Firewall control should be turned on the router only.
Windows Explorer has some bugs in their browsers that may not work on certain copiers. It is best to use Firefox or Safari instead to do any administration work on your copier.
