My dyson dc33 beater bar won't turn

There are belts in the clutch, which is the lever you can move to adjust the vacuum from floor to tools. The belts become stretched and need to be replaced. You can purchase just the belts or purchase the clutch assembly with the belts installed. There is also a belt change tool that makes the job much easier to install because the new belts will be much tighter than the old belts. The parts are available from thatvacguy.com.

How to remove clutch on dyson dc07

This service is hard to explain. Try googling it so you watch a video of how it is done. You can purchase belts and rebuild the clutch with the new belts or you can purchase a new clutch with belts already installed

Can the Turbo Brush on a Bissell vacuum be repaired?

Hey Teri! If you have good suction from the end of the upholstery hose, the turbobrush should rotate as long as there isn't anything binding the brush. Otherwise, a new turbobrush will need to be purchased.

Here's a quick link to ordering one online.

How do you change the belt

Hi there,

If your DC07 is a model equipped with the brush control feature, the belt should not need replacing. If it doesn't seem to be working correctly, it's probably best if you get in touch with us directly using the details provided below, so we can help you resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If your DC07 is a model without the brush control feature, you can find out how to replace the belt here:

http://www.dyson.co.uk/support/help.asp?article=18&product=DC07-ORIGIN

You can purchase replacement belts from our online store:

http://www.dyson.co.uk/store/partsDetails.asp?part=ACC-DC0104BELTS&product=DC07-ORIGIN

If you have any further questions, or if you'd like to order the belts via our Helpline, please call us free on 08002980298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US).

Kind regards,

Jack

Brushes do not turn

HI there,
There are a couple of reasons that your brushes may not spin.
1. The hard floor / carpet dial is set to hard floor.
2. The clutch to motor belt is broken
3. The clutch to brush belt is broken.
4. The roller brush bearings are siezed.
5. The clutch is faulty.
THis sounds like a lot of things but if you watch my video I will show you all these issues and you can get your machine going again.
I also have a blog at vacuumsmart.info if you have other Dyson questions.
If you need to get a new belt for your dyson or a brush roller you can purchase them online.

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Usually there are screws, clips or levers on the bottom of the vacuum and you need to either remove the bottom plate and once you have taken the screws, etc. out the top cover will come off. And then you can proceed with the removal and the install of the new belt. 1st you need to remove @ least one end of the Hoover brushroll and take of the old belt and slide on a new belt. Once the belt is on the pulley side of the brushroll; then re-install the brushroll. Make sure that the brush is spinning freely B4 you install the new belt, then take a belt puller or a screwdriver with a left or right hand hook to use as a belt puller and then stretch the belt onto the motor pulley, then take and roll the belt until it is tracking straight and then re-install the top cover and or the bottom plate, tighten down the screws, levers or clips. So, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
