Disconnect the power, check your speaker wire connections behind the stereo and at the speakers. Reconnect the power and test.

KDC-MP4032 head unit wont turn on

hi, seeing that your kenwood showed up "protect" you may have an audio circuit/amplifier fault within the unit. try resetting the unit to see if unit comes "on" again. if the unit comes on and protect flashes again, then you definitely have an internal audio circuit fault. if not then check all power connections(yellow and red wire voltages, as well as ground connection), as well as the condition of the face pins!

check your speakers and speaker wires for shorts, and then disconnect power to the radio for a few seconds and reconnect it.

Need to reset the code on my Kenwood deck.

you should try the defaults 0000,0123,1234. in most cases unless you or the original owner put in the security code. Worse case it will just keep turning off till you get it right.

It turns off when in high volume

a few things...your speakers may not be a perfect match for the unit. at high volume where the radio starts to distort there is an internal protection circuit that protects the radio...it's kicking in.
solution.  Buy a power amp and take the load off of the radio.

Kenwood deck cd eject problem

Actually, yes! That could very well damage any unit without a protection mode. Unfortunately, in my long time experience in car audio, a deck that spits cd's out has a damaged or misaligned laser lens. This could be caused by driving to fast through pot holes, speedbumps, or going down train tracks. Find an electronics repair shop locally to see if having it repaired will out weigh a new deck. I found one new in box on ebay for $89 + shipping.

Kdc-mp4032

Hi, there

I think that there is a code error in your device. You should take it to a Kenwood store and they will put a new code in it.

Good luck.

Un lock code

hi you have 2 options:
1 - pay for the code/remote via kenwood service agent you will need proof of ownership
2 - send for re-codeing - the code system can be switched off.

we can do this for you if you are in the uk, please see: http://carradiospares.co.uk/kenwood-recode-p-213.html

Regards

Mark
