It sounds as if you have to many profiles?
try deleting one that is not needed.
How is this machine connected? Network or USB
If this is connected via Network, you can type the ip address of the machine in internet explorer, and go to the NIC/Web Page.
From there you will see profiles.

I would highly recommend you going to lexmark and downloading the Users Guide.
(this manual will tell you more than you will ever need to know about this machine, and there are trouble shooting section in this as well)

The Lexmark’s are funny, the profiles you get to with a
short cut... which kinda screws me up sometimes. I usually print out the
shortcut page so I can remember which one is what? Especially if you have a
large number of profiles and fax numbers programmed.

But in all good choice of machine, it is the best for its price. And do
get that manual you will find it more helpful than any thing... If you need anything else let me know .

    Good Luck

    Mike

Hello my scanner wont work for lexmark x852e. please help

Don't know if you have tried this, but it might help.

Create a scan to PC profile
1 Type the IP address of the MFP in the address line of your browser, and then press Enter.
If the Java applet screen appears, click Yes.
2 Click Scan Profile.
3 Click Create Scan Profile.
4 Select your scan settings, and then click Next.
5 Select a location for saving the scanned output file somewhere on your computer.
6 Enter a profile name.
The profile name is the name that will appear on the Scan Profile list on the MFP control panel.
7 Click Submit.
8 Review the instructions on the Scan to PC screen.
A shortcut number was automatically assigned when you clicked Submit. You can use this shortcut number when
you are ready to scan your documents.
a Go to the MFP, and place your original document in the ADF face up, long edge first.
b Press # followed by the shortcut number on the keypad, or touch Profiles on the home screen.
c After you enter the shortcut number, the scanner will scan and send the document to the directory or
application you specified. If you touch Profiles on the home screen, locate your shortcut on the list.
9 Return to your computer to view your file.
Your output file is saved in the location you specified or launched in the application you specified.

Good luck.

There is something wrong with my microsft account its not letting me log in and the code is 8015d003

You see the following error message when you try to sign in to Xbox Live:
Sorry, something's wrong with your Microsoft account. Go to https://account.live.com for help.
Status code 8015D003
This may mean that there's a problem with your Xbox profile.

Solutions

To resolve this issue, try the following solutions.
Solution 1: Verify your Microsoft account security information
  1. Go to Microsoft account. If you forgot your password or it doesn't work, reset your password.)
  2. Click Edit security info.
  3. Verify your security information. For example, verify the Phone number, Alternate email address, and Security question information.
  4. Sign out of your Microsoft account, and then sign in again.
  5. Try to sign in to Xbox Live again.
Solution 2: Clear the system cache
  1. Press the Guide button on your controller.
  2. Go to settings and select System Settings.
  3. Select Storage or Memory.
  4. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)
  5. Select Clear System Cache.
Note Repeat this step three times.
  6. When you are prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 three times to fully clear the cache.
Solution 3: Move and then redownload your Xbox Live profile
Note If you want to use a USB flash drive or a USB hard drive to complete these steps, you must format the USB flash drive or USB hard drive for Xbox storage. (See USB flash drive support for Xbox 360.)
  1. Move your profile to a USB flash drive or USB hard drive. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. Plug the USB drive into your console.

Note A Memory Unit can be a USB flash drive, a USB hard drive, or the Xbox 360 Hard Drive. Be sure that you move the profile to a USB flash drive or a USB hard drive.
    7. Remove the Memory Unit from your console.
  2. Redownload your profile. For details, see Download, move, or delete your Xbox Live profile.

I am unable to log in. I keep getting the following error message: "The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded". Please help.

This issue may occur if the user profile was manually deleted by using the command prompt or Windows Explorer by a user or by some program. A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) from the user profile list in the registry. Since the SID is still present, Vista will still try to load the profile by using the ProfileImagePath that points to a nonexistent path. Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded.
This can also be a issue with the user profile entering into a backup state.
Manually renaming the C:\Users\(User Name) folder.

to solve this issue, you will need to visit the microsoft support website below and read the help available: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215/en-us
