If it's not blowing air but it spinning, you have a bad blower wheel. These are gravy to get to but you need snap ring pliers to get the clip off.

My tower fan doesn't blow air Everything else works so its not the motor Why is this?

Does the fan motor run? You did not say! Did you know that fans don't blow air, even if running, if the fan unit is in a vacuum? There is no air to blow in that situation. So, is any air available to the fan? Is there any air intake location that is clogged or blocked?

Not sure which fan you mean. Engine cooling fan is different from heat/air blower fan.

I was cleaning me pc and forget what way the 2 fan go inside one blowing in and the outside is blow in to and my friend is telling me that the one on the outside sould be blow out not in what way...

Generally the purpose of a chassis fan on a desktop is to cool the machine. If there was only one fan it should be blowing out. If you have 2 fans then at least one should be blowing out.

(Assuming that the second fan that is blowing in is not allowing dust into the chassis of the computer.)

Hope this helps

Ceiling fan won't blow any air

if its turning its either sucking or blowing air. There is a switch or a pull cord to reverse it. prove it to yourself with something light like a feather or piece of paper or balloon.

Air conditioner and heat blower

You will have two fans, one fan blows out the rear of the unit that cools the condenser soil, one blows out the front across the evaporator that blows the cold air out into the room. Some window a/c's have whats called a squirrel cage fan assy. that has one motor that runs both fans. So you either have one bad fan motor (the evap fan motor) or you have a bad fan blade that has fallen off the shaft. Also check the filter see if it is clean.

The AC blows on #4 fan setting but doesn't blow at all on 1-3

That is the blower resistor. 4 is wide open, so, no resistance. I had 4 of them put into my truck. The wires were burnt and shorted the others until the problem was found. Check the plug if you do this yourself.

Fan not blowing air.

theres a small toggle switch on the fan

that switch is to change direction on the way the fan is blowing

one direction for downward blowing

the other direction is for upward blowing

depends on the area you have to determine which is the best, but i doubt area restriction will hamper force air blowing, air will flow regardless, the area might be big so you dont feel it.

as being living in the attic, HOT AIR rises, so you might want to invest in some installation for the ceiling, because whent he sun hit the roof, it will create an oven effect, in your living area. the hot air is always present, you should have a ventilation fan blowing the hot air out, like thru a small window, the more hot air you blow out, the better.

not sure if this make sense. not sure how big the room is, as FANs are NOISY by nature.
