No voltage to the hrating element the black appears to have a resistor inline . It has voltage before but not after the resistorType your problem for a solution...

Sounds like the inline fuse needs to be replaced.

It may depend on the year make and model.
Generally speaking, the resistor is placed inline in the positive lead to drop voltage going into the coil. There is no positive and negative side to the resistor.

Location of heater relay on 2003 ford focus.

There is no relay, according to my info. At the blower motor, green wire is voltage, fuse protected, goes hot with key on. Black wire is ground. The blower speed control switch is part of ground circuit. There are resistors for the lower speeds. Hi speed doesn't use a resistor. If you have good voltage and ground at blower motor and no blower action, suspect the blower motor. Any motor that uses brushes, sometimes you can tap on suspect motor, and it will run intermittently. Sign of bad brushes.
You may be able to use jumper wires to blower motor connector for voltage and ground, from the battery, just to see if blower motor will run? If it won't run, suspect blower motor. If you use jumpers, use an inline fuse, just in case.

How to replace a blower resistor motor on a 2001 Saturn L200

Check the black power wire from the main wiring harness to the harness for the blower control, that's what I found wrong with mine after replacing the resistor and blower motor. I just jumped it with a 20 amp inline .

The fan for heating and cooling suddenly quit on my 2006 GMC Sierra 1500. Could it be a fuse?

Yes it could be a fuse, or the blower motor, or the control on the dash.

My bottom oven is not working

Check your fuses, usually located under the top panel of your electric range. You might have to look in the manual for this. If all the fuses are good, then the problem is likely your element. These are easy to replace on most ovens, they just lift and pull out of a socket. Another thing to do is to reset your breaker in the electrical panel. Some times one breaker in the pair will trip and this will kill most hrating elements in an electric oven.

Hello Chris, Hi, your TV's power supply section is not functioning properly. If the fuse is in good shape, then the auxiliary power section of the power supply is not functioning, this section powers the switching oscillator and IC that sends the pulse to the switching element like power transistors to create a main secondary voltage. the main secondary voltage is the circuit that produces all voltage needed source by the TV. what you can do if you are up to it.
A. Visualize any bulging capacitors, replace them. B. Measure the voltage across the following section in particular order so we can find the faulty parts.
  1. the AC input on the Power supply board. (none means open switch or power cable)
  2. the AC after the line filter circuit. (none means open line filter)
  3. the DC on the filter capacitor. (none means problem on the rectifier)
  4. then the AC on the switching element or input on the main transformer. (most likely you won't have any voltage reading hear.)if you do have continue.... (none means you scratch your head, this is the hardest part) check all low value resistors, high wattage resistors open or shorted diodes.
  5. the dc on the secondary filter capacitors.
If not have this checked by a technician, its to complicated for you.

If you turn on the key and you do not hear the pump in the tank running for two secounds ( the same time your warning lights on your dash light up and goes off) then 1 you need to replace the pump or 2 it has low voltage to the pump or 3 both. I just repaired a 1987 pioneer what you need to know is the pump requires 12v at the pump, however OEM has placed an inline ballast resistor located on the driver side front engine compartment near the hood latch that is made of white ceramic with two connection both wires are orange with a black stripe. A. Check the voltage on both sides of the resistor 12v in 12v out use a volt meater - to battery + to resister if no voltes check the relay the passenger side of the engine compartment ( there is 4 relays from front to back it is no. 2 from the battery) looks like a small blue box newer relays are black, if they do not click when the key is on then your CPU may be bad or fusible link is bad If you have voltage to the resister and you have 12v in and less than 12v out your next test will be at the rear connector to the pump, three wires close to the fuel filter using a volt meater check the black wire with the orange / black stripe if voltage is less than the voltage out of your resistor then there is a bad wire in the system and a new wire is required. confirm this by jumping the battery to the pump wire black to- and orange to + the pump should run. Note. running the pump with lower than 12v will damage the pump and cause it to fail! If the pump works you can check the fuel pressure on the fuel rail, remove the cap to epose the shearder valve (looks like the valve on your tires) depress the valve stem and fuel should come out, caution fuel is under pressure have a rag under the valve to catch the fuel, if low pressure the pump is bad and/or filter is plugged Replace filter first recheck this test then replace pump and recheck. Note!!! when the pump is out of the tank recheck the voltage at the pump this will show true voltage at the last connector it needs to be 12 volts! Reconnect the pump wire the stock wire and check, on the pioneer I worked on was 4 volts so I rewired it to a new battery source using the orange /black strip wire that had 12v in to resistor as a trip wire for a 65 amp power relay. The owner noted an increase in overal performance " it now has more power now" hope this helps

My kenmore 80 series drier was not heating up I replaced the heater element and the thermostats and there is still no air. Is there anything else that could be stopping it from hrating up?

yes, there is also the sloblo fuse that is near the thermostat. If you have an ohm meter, you can test it first by removing the lower panel and look near the thermostat for another wired component next to it.
