If you have a headphone jack at the front and the back, it may be a wire to the front panel is not connected properly on the Motherboard.

SOURCE: I cannot get any sound. Not even with headphones

You probably are but I wont hold that against you LOL

Ok so you checked down in the task bar but have your checked by calling up the properties for the volume control.

to do this right click audio properties and make sure it says realtek in the top box on all the tabs.and make sure it is listed on the last tab "hardware" if it is you can then close them boxes down and right click on the volume control but this time select "open volume control"

you should be presented with a list of things starting with the volume control then wave then sw synth then cd player it may show more and in fact you can make it show more but we have what we need and now you should move all the sliders to at least half way If you take the first 3 and make them about 3/4

Try anything you want for sound preferably a proper music cd and lets see if we got you fixed up

No the headphone jack doesn't disable the speakers. There are two switches in the lower middle of the receiver that are labeled speaker A and B. Pushing one of these should disconnect the speakers from the receiver.

Speakers are ok but headphone is not working

OK. Speaker works/headphones don't! Sultanrajia, what is refering to! Audio Amp, play-back record, computer, radio, TV, all communication equipment. what. It could be broken wire on the headphone jack plug or it could the headphone aren't working. Maybe some bad wire in the headphone cable, faulty plugs.

Buy a headphone amp at Daddy's or guitar center, connect from a line-out set of jacks in the rear, then dont use your power amp while the headphones are being used.

My second Philips headphone has stopped working after just a couple of months. I love this type of headphone as it doesn't bother my hair. But I cannot understand why they don't last long. I didn't realize...

Philips headphones

The earphone is blown. Go to Target or Walmat and buy a new set of what ever you like, They all fit. They even have Philips Brand. If you can stand the wait, go to Ebay and search "Philips Headphones" and you can buy some that look JUST like the OEM E.Phones but are a higher premium sound Quality.
Word to you mother.
