How to solve the circumference by using fomulae p=2

The formula is simply this: C = (pi)d. In this equation, "c" represents the circumference of the circle, and "d" represents its diameter. That is to say, you can find the circumference of a circle just by multiplying the diameter by pi, which is an approximation of 3.14.

Pi is a mathematical constant whose value is the ratio of any Euclidean plane circle's circumference to its diameter; this is the same value as the ratio of a circle's area to the square of its radius. It is approximately equal to 3.14159265 in the usual decimal notation.

The number pi.gif is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter. The value of pi.gif is approximately 3.14159265358979323846...The diameter of a circle is twice the radius. Given the diameter or radius of a circle, we can find the circumference. We can also find the diameter (and radius) of a circle given the circumference. The formulas for diameter and circumference of a circle are listed below. We round pi.gif to 3.14 in order to simplify our calculations. diam_formula.gif circum_formula.gif

Find the radius of a circle in which a 40o central angle cuts off an arc whose length is 4pi

If an arc is 4╥, it is 12.56.
You can use 12.56 as a starting point and figure out what circumference that is 40° of.

Circumference = 2 • π • radius = π • diameter

Reverse this and you will have your answer.

What is the area of a semi circle the diameter is 2.500mm the radious is .425mm the circumfrence is 3000mm

You cannot have a semicircle that has a diameter of 2.500 mm and a radius of .425mm and a circumference of 3000mm

Circumference is equal to pi times the diameter. pi is = 3.14

The radius of a circle is always 1/2 the diameter

Area of a circle is pi time the radius squared
