Well of all the research ive done it says it comes with a SSD not flash memory which leads me to believe that yes you are able to upgrade the hard drive in it to anything that's sata. Theres some good deals on Newegg and if you have an issue (or claim to have an issue because your device you just bought is not compatible) then they have a worry free 30-90 day return policy depending on the product.
Most netbooks are rather easy to dis-assemble some have a screw-less chassis that requires nothing more then a little brute force and a flat head to pop open. Others require removal of 6-10 screws on the bottom of the unit then it pops right open (dont forget to check underneath the battery)
You will have to open the chassis to confirm weather or not the drive is actually removable, and make sure all power is cut to the unit while doing so.
