The simplest thing to do is call Straight Talk's customer service from another phone. Tell them what you wrote here, and be ready to give them your phone number, verify that it's really you that is calling (a phone company usually asks for some sort of ID for security) and they may also ask you to open the phone and read a number off a sticker inside it.

If you do have time left on the account and the phone isn't physically damaged, they may be able to turn it back on today.

Set time and date on casio dr-270tm

I ACTUALLY HAD A HARD TIME MAKING THEIR STEPS WORK. BUT WHAT I FINALLY FIGURED OUT WAS THE "FORMAT" WASN'T CORRECT. I WOULDN'T MOVE PAST THE DAY WHEN I WAS SETTING THE DATE. IT WOULD ENTER THE MONTH OK BUT THEN STOP AT THE FIRST DIGIT OF THE DAY AND WOULDN'T ADVANCE TO THE 2ND DIGIT. BUT WHAT I FIGURED OUT WAS THAT THEY WANTED THE DAY AND MONTH SWITHCED. SO INSTEAD OF ENTERING 07-29-2015 I HAD TO ENTER 29-07-2015 HIT TIME TIME AND IT WAS DONE. VERY FRUSTRATING BECAUSE THE MANUAL SAYS TO ENTER IT THE AMERICAN WAY 07-29-2015. ANYWAY, IT WORKED FOR ME. HOPE THAT HELPS. :o}

Why is my service disabled, but I have minutes?

With TracFone, you not only need to have minutes, but also service time. Check your phone's display to see if your service time is up. (I have a Samsung TracFone and it tells the number of service days remaining, but my old Motorola showed an expiration date. Your Motorola model may show the date too.) You'll lose service if you don't add more time by the end of service date, even if you still have minutes. As long as you add some more airtime within a short time (I don't remember the exact number of days), you'll keep the same number.

If the phone shows you haven't reached the end of service date and you still have minutes left, there's some other problem that TracFone will need to look into. Their customer service number is 1-800-867-7183.

Hope this helps and that you're back in service soon. Thanks for using Fixya!

hi, On your stand by screen, type the following! >*<<*<* < means left, ( move Joystick(d-pad) to Left) > means right (move Joystick(d-pad) to Right) * means press * button !!!! You will get a hidden menu! U can check your whole mobile from "service tests", test every thing on your phone, see the updates you've done with the version and exact date. You can find out anything about your phone here, IEM, Bands, status, keh(what ever that is!) and a lot more which i don't know what they are. You know what I love most?!! The total call time of the phone is displayed like , even if you reset the phone counter, the total talk time can bee seen here. Great help if your buying a used phone! By the way, you have deactivate any shortcuts you may have on the left and right side of the joystick, d-pad, all the best sreejith
