Perhaps the ed light tried to indicate it could not reach the correct temperature of a reason?
The reason could be the compressor not working, the thermostat defect or even the cooling fluid is out.
Please try to find out why the red light is on and don't jump to conclusions. Must be a real defect.
No, you can't. The line goes into the mold of the machine with no access there. You have either an air leak in the dispenser area, around the ice shoot possibly, or the resevoir, which is located on the refrigerator side in the lower area behind the drawers is freezing, which is most likely the case. There are vents on the lower section for the crisper drawers. If you take out the drawers you'll find a roll of 1/4 " tubing which they call a resevoir that cools the water down. This is probably frozen, and you can insulate this, but I would raise the temperature in the fridge side or close the vents to the crisper area.
Your model has a WR60X10132 or 10055112 Damper and Fan that regulates temperatures between the freezer and fresh food compartment. The part has been recently updated. Refrigerator air inlet cover/damper kit with fan motor. Damper and fan assembly has been updated to prevent freezing in the refrigerator. (The manufacturer has replaced part number wr60x10132 with this item, part number WR49X10091.) (Manufacturer part number WR49X10091 is RepairClinic item number 1055112.) Pull out your WIDE-N-FRESH Deli Drawer at the bottom, and when the lid automatically raises look to the right: you'll find a sliding temperature controller that most likely is all the way up. Slide it down towards the bottom and this will cut back on the cool. Worked for ours!
water under the crisper doors is pretty common, all you have to do is raise the front legs of the refrigerator, Refrigerators have a heater in them that keep everything from freezing, if it wasnt for the heater then it would just be a freezer, now alot of these samsungs have 2 evaps, so if you get a warm fridge, its prob. because a sensor is out or the heater is out and there is ice buildup inside the unit preventing either the fan from turning, or just blocking air flow, but for the water, just raise the front legs and there is a drain in the back that it will go into from now on
open the freezer compartment loo for ice build up on floor of frezer especally towards rear behind back panel. sounds like you have a clogged/frozen defrost drain tube. removing back panel of freezer will give you acess to drain trough, melt away the ice with a hair dryer, youll find a drain hole under there somwhere, pouring boiling water down the drain will clear it pretty quickly( i use a steam machine purchased from the infomercials)
