Question about Samsung SyncMaster 2253BW LCD Monitor
I unplugged my 2253BW from the AC power while it was connected to my PC. When I plugged it in to AC again it would not power up. On-Off switch does not turn on power, No lights or screen activity. Is there a reboot or other setting that needs adjusting?

cables wont make a difference, are you sure your display settings are set to 1680 x 1050? i have had problems when it is set to 1600 x 1000 and i had to reinstall the video card drivers.

Turned out ticking noise was harmonic vibration triggered by a nearby airconditioning compressor. Once I guessed the cause, putting a rubber pad under the monitor to dampen the vibrations eliminated the ticking. Removing the pad caused the ticking to reoccur. Ditto with turning the A/C off or on. Weird!
