Question about Microsoft Office 2007 Standard Full Ver MS=SEALED BOX=
User opens a spreadsheet received in an email, makes a change and then selects the Send As Attachment option, a new email opens, she enters the recipients name. When she hits send, the email stays in the Outlook Outbox. Tried to do a manual send/receive but it doesn't move. she is able to create new mail and send it successfully. She can add an attachment that is saved to an email and send it successfully.
It sounds like the attachment may be to large for her to send via email. Email applications have a size limitation on how large of an attachment you can send. I would try to take the file break it down into smaller sizes and send those as attachments to see if they go through. For aneasy test before going through the trouble of creating smaller files make a word document. Name it test write this is a test document on the document and save it so it has some content in it and see if she can send it. If she can its probably the attachment is too large to be sent and you need to send it in smaller file sizes.

if the message had a file or picture in it sometimes you will have to zip it to compress it and secure it as it may be caused by the way the programme sends packets of information.

My problem was an outlook email sometimes usually with an attachment getting stuck in outbox and sending multiple times to users. very embarrassing, some users getting hundreds of emails. Bloody M$ outlook. Tried turning off antivirus - no change. tried setting up another profile, same problem. Once it's stuck can get email deleted using techniques described in posts. i.e work offline, cancel send / recieve etc. but didn't solve problem of getting stuck and sending multiple copies, happens on semi - random almost consistent basis.
Only solution to have fixed problem was as described in one post here, change outgoing server timeouts. go to tools->account settings-> choose account->change account->more settings->advanced tab->change server timeouts from 1 min to 5 mins or longer.
I believe the problem is with ISP and random variances in broadband connectivity. Have noticed my ISP doesn't provide consistent speed and occaisional dead connectivity spots which would explain why one needs to expand timeout settings.
