SOURCE: maytag mah6700 will not stop filling with water

your drain hose is too far down the drain pipe in the wall it should only go down approx 6 or eight inches, after putting the drain hose in the correct position secure the drain hose to the water lines with a zip tie or tape so that it will not move

SOURCE: Overfilling maytag centennial - brand new?

My Maytag has a load size sensor that automatically fills the tub with the appropriate amount of water. This sensor gets over-ridden if the lid is opened while filling. In other words, don't open the lid during the cycle. If you do, the machine will fill to the top as if there is a huge load in the tub.

I have a 2010 Maytag Centennial (MVWC300VW1) washer. In the fill mode using hot or warm water setting, it stops filling after 20 seconds. I have replaced the water inlet valve how ever the problem is still...

Hi Daniel.
I've heard of this problem before. In that case it was because the water pressure was too low and the inlet is set for higher pressure.
If you have a low pressure (gravity) delivery you may want to check if there is an inlet specifically designed for LOW water pressure.
Good luck

The hot water will not fill

Please check the INLET to the hot water line. It could be clogged.
of so remove and flush or replace valve, if there is no supply to the valve it can be related to the control panel.

My Maytag Centennial Washer is a top loader. It washes fine, but will not spin out after the rinse cycle.

If the water flows though the inlet then the flow pressure should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. Once the water comes into the system the WATER LEVEL SENSOR - normally a pressure switch- must activate at the preset/chosen level to give the signal to the program controller to switch on the motor. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor for rinse and wash.

How do i clean the water hose filter

On the back of the Washer, you have your hot and cold water hoses that hook up to the Washer Water Inlet Control Valves. Shut the water off at the Main water valves in the wall. Disconnect the hoses from the Washer and check the filters inside the Water Inlet Control Valves.
