Question about Cell Phones
Hi, I have a W490 that has recently developed some serious problems. The screen whites out and takes 5-10 minutes to come to, until then, the phone is completely inoperable. Occasionally upon opening the phone, the screen will go to black, like it doesn't recognize that it's open. Once in a while the key pad actually locks up and doesn't allow any dialing, removing the battery usually fixes that problem.
The phone is technically under warranty until 03/01/09 but since I didn't purchase it from an 'authorized dealer' neither Motorola or T-mobile will touch it.
Anyway, I've done some searching and this is a common problem with these phones. I was just wondering if there's a solution that I might be able to come up with to get it working again? Replace the LCD? any Ideas?
