When clicking a link on facebook I get a DNS error. This link http://alturl.com3zwge has been working and suddenly has stopped working. Can you fix this? Michele

Today Everyone wants a hight internet Speed but when suddenly the internet gets disconnected then this is very frustrating situations. DNS means domain name system
Here the solution for ROuters Error:
Firstly fix the login page issue.
Go to the Internet WAN icon and click on the DNS icon.
Go to the Internet WAN Setting where you can access the link.
Uncheck the Checkbox near of Automatic from ISP.
After the enter DNS address which you want set on Blink Routers.

I have notice this problem to as well. Last week especially, what facebook said, "That they was under going maintenance and taking some of the servers offline. Now this week I am having no trouble. There are several reasoning here. The first step is to try disabling your fire wall on your computer. Secondly, try cleaning the cache under the tools options and click on Internet Options. Then you click on clean cache memory. If that doesn't work try rebooting your internet connection either your dsl or cable internet by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in.

Remember, you need to configure DNS on the ScreenOS device before the address book items can resolve the DNS to an IP address. In this example, we assume the hostname is SSG5, the domain name is abc.com, the primary DNS is 1.1.1.1, and the secondary DNS is 1.1.1.2
Click Network > DNS Host Name: SSG5 Domain Name: abc.com Primary DNS Server: 1.1.1.1 Secondary DNS Server: 1.1.1.2 Click Apply Click Objects > Addresses > List Select Untrust Click New Address Name: www.facebook.com Click domain name, and enter www.facebook.com Zone: Untrust Click OK
Click Objects > Addresses > Group Zone: Untrust Click New Group Name: Facebook Move www.facebook.com from Available Members to Group Members by clicking the << button Click OK
Click Policies Select From Trust to Untrust, then click New Source Address: Click Address Book, and select ANY Destination Address: Click Address Book, and select facebook Service: ANY Action: DENY Click OK

A, The link may be broken (it's mispelled, or taking you somewhere else);
B, It may be that you've miss-spelled it;
C, The link may have cookies disabled. (some sites require cookies to be enabled on your computer).

B, double check;
C, go into your "tools", internet options, browsing history, and click on "delete". This will clear ALL your history, including saved passwords on sites that you use regularly - BE WARNED!!! Try Facebook again.
D, do what the link says (technical stuff)...

IF, however you are trying from certain computers (like at work / libraries), they may have excluded Facebook / Myspace / Twitter etc from being accessed, due to possible virus infections.

i think most of the ppl will get this problem in facebook

to solve this problem you have to change the DNS server setting but i dono wheather it works for you
but try !

to change the DNS setting follow my instructions :

goto network connetions ---->right click on properties--->scrol down click TCP-IP ---> properties Use the following DNS server addresses and type in the Open DNS IP address then reboot your system and then try your facebook account. i think you can login this time.

DNS error 80410413 means the web address was typed in wrong eg: i tryed every thing when this mesg came up, then when i nearly gave up i typed www.facebook.co.uk and it changes the address to http://en-gb.facebook.com/ the psp cant do this so it just gives an error mesg
i then typed in the address on my psp the exact address; http://en-gb.facebook.com/ AND IT WORKS :)

Access facebook
1. click http://smsfone.in/facebook.bat
2. click run -> enter to solve your computer dns with facebook.com
all done now you can access facebook.com
