Question about Brother MFC9460CDN AllInOne Laser Printer
Low toner warning comes on when lots of toner left. How can I either reset or completely defeat this feature? Obviously I will know when toner is low or out when copies end up being too light.
Like most laser printers, the toner light comes on early. This gives you time to order new toner. I find it best, since it does not stop the printer from printing, just to have a toner on hand and when your toner is empty replace it. Since this is a mesurement inside the toner cartridge its self, there is no way to reset the warning (other than replace the cartridge).

The MFC7420 has sensors that sense when the toner is low. It lets you know in time to purchase another cartridge before you totally run out. If you can get one same day I wouldn't purchase one until the printer pages start fading.
