CHANGE REGION 1 TO 2 FOR AVH-P4000DVD

I bought from a site in internet a PIONEER AVH-P4000DVD. In my country (Greece) the dvd players use region 2 but this one is play in region 1 (for USA).
I wonder if i can change the region number to my unit from 1to 2?

I have also bought the same player from ebay and was looking for a way to change region 1 to region 2. I am also having a problem with the radio. Is there a way to get the tuner to stop on odd radio stations (ex. 89.5) because now it only stops on even stations (ex. 89.6). Finally, the RDS doesn't seem to be working.

The buyer I got the player from said there is a software I can download from the internet. Is that true?

    Thanks

Pioneer recommends Pioneer ND-BC2, but you should be able to use any with a descent viewing angle and RCA connections.

Watch a dvd while driving pioneer AVH-P4000 DVD

ground the wire to a hot (ie power comes to the wire) switch in your dash, like a rear window defroster or seat heater. turn the switch on then off and it will trick the system into thinking you activated the parking brake.

My screen

It is telling you that, depending on the rear-view camera that is attached, the image MAY appear reversed. If the unit is going into this screen on it's own, go to the main menu screen where you would choose DVD, RADIO, AUX, etc... and press Rear View. It should beep (but not change). That is it.

New pioneer dvd player cant view picture when playin dvd

You probably need to get the handbrake switch wire properly attached to the handbrake switch. Some people have also used a toggle switch or something and run the handbrake switch wire to that and the wire from the handbrake switch to a ground on the vehicle, then you just have to flick the switch off and on EVERYTIME you start the car to do the bypass.

Though what I'd really suggest just getting a 4 pin relay and do a bypass. You can also use a 5 pin relay and do it, just don't use the 87a pin. Another clean way to do it would be getting a PTR 7 but this costs a bit more and needs to be programmed. This should allow you to look at DVD's with vehicle moving or not.
