How do you gain access to the pilot light

    Thanks for your reply.
The problem is that the spark is jumping around and I was hoping to readjust the gap or just give the probe a clean up., but I can't access it. I cannot see a hole where you could put a taper in to light the pilot

If the spark is "jumping about" then it is likely strong to be enough to ignite the gas. I suspect you don't have adequate gas getting to the spark? Re-check that the Gas valve (under the handle you depress and turn) is being correctly turned on and that the gas is actually reaching the Pilot jet. From other internet searches this seems to be the issue rather than the lack of an ignition spark. (I have a Truma system that works (!) in the same way)

Hi Gordon,
You should normally use the built-in Igniter, normally a button or twist action on the gas regulator dial on the Carver unit, to light the Pilot Flame. This is normally indicated by a "lightning" sign. If this has stiopped working there is often a hole below the pilot's location to enable you use a lighter or match to light the pilot.
Check that you have an adequate supply of gas?
DON'T LEAVE THE GAS ON if the Pilot does not light.
Because of the safety issues associated with gas appliances you should take the vehicle/caravan to an authorised repair workshop for a permanent fix.

My carver HR - 895 was staticy at times on FM and all the sudden shut off. Now it won't Power up at all what do I do ?

Do you have an indicator light blinking or illuminated? If so, your amp has DC Offset, meaning a damaged amplifier. The static noise you heard, may have been DC voltage on the speaker output.

How do i replace head light bulb to my honda pilot 2003

If you can reach it from behind you simply turn it and pull it out. Snap out the dead bulb and replace. If you can not physically get behind the lens then you need to remove the lens to gain access to your bulb. That is easy to do. There should be two or three bolts/screws holding the assembly in. Remove them and the lens will pull out. After pulling it out you can access your bulbs. Do no touch the surface of the new bulb on install. Your finger oils will shorten the life of the lamp

The pilot light takes a long time to light, once lit it barely has but a small blue flame, what is the problem?

Ensure that the unit receives the standard gas pressure as rated on its nameplate.
Pilot orifice may be partially plugged or has some dirt on it, You have to dismantle the whole pilot assembly to gain access in cleaning the pilot orifice. Be careful not to enlarge the orifice bore in cleaning for that will only result to poor pilot flame quality.
The thermopile must be free of soot or soot form of dirt in order to detect the right amount of heat from the pilot flame so that it could also, in turn generate the right amount of voltage needed by the gas valve for pilot and burner operation.

Regards.

How do I remove the tail light assembly on a 2007 honda pilot?

Typically, you need to release interior trim, to gain access to several thumb nuts (can be turned by hand). These nuts retain the entire assembly, and need to be released to access bulbs.

Where is the pilot light located?

if this is a gas dryer most of them have what is called a ignitor located on them and it will be on the bottom of unit and requires you to remove front panel of dryer to gain access... they wouldn't have a pilot light due to the lint etc.. thatr would be a fire waiting to happen.... hope this helps you out...
good luck.....

My gas was recently shut off for repairs from the gas company, now its back on and i dont know how to get my oven or stove back on

Ok you did not mention if your oven or stive had pilot lights or igniters. Given you asked the question how too turn it back on I have to assume it does not have electronic igniters. You need to light the pilot lights. There are 2 in top that are between each of the 2 burner sets. If you can not gain access to the pilot light by lifting the top of the stove up you can use a fire starter type lighter and re-light them. Sometimes they will self light if you just use a match on the burners.
As for the oven you can gain access 2 ways to the pilot light. One is to unlatch and remove the oven lower inside panel. The pilot light will be near the burner head. Just light it. The other is to remove the broiler drawer and reach way back in there to light the pilot light.

Again if you have igniter ignition all you have to do is turn on a burner or the oven. Good Luck.

We have a restaurant grade Vulcan gas range in our church. A pilot or two tend to go out every now and then. They all seem to be properly set. Do you recommend any specific type of burner cover and if so...

There is actually an adjustment to turn the pilot flame 'up' just a bit. This will help so they don't go out. You need to gain access to the pilot flame. right nest to the flame there is a screw, turn it CCW to increase flame height. Just a bit, it's all it needs.

Connecting NAD 314 Receiver\ preamp to Carver M-500t to speakers

Dear Tim,
Yes, you can connect your NAD as a preamp to the Carver power Amp.

Connect the NAD's pre-out to the input of the Carver Power Amp. You can then connect the Klipsch speaker to the Carver. Set the gain control on the NAD.

Now you should be able to control all the input and the main volume control from the NAD.

I need to know how to light the pilot on my somewhat old water heater. The model is called the challenger 5 the model number 153.331471

On these older gas water heaters there is a gas control with temperature selection and below that is a removable cover. Once you remove the cover you can gain access to the pilot. You must rotate the knob on the top of the control to the pilot position. When in the pilot position, hold the red button down and light the pilot. Continue to hold the button down after the pilot is lit for about one minute. If when you release the red button the pilot goes out, try one more time. If it goes out again after releasing the button your thermocouple is bad and must be replaced. The thermocouple generates a millivolt electrical current that hold the gas valve in the operating condition when the pilot is lit. When the pilot goes out there is no heat to generate this small electrical field.
