Try looking here: open your printers fax folder. Your printer should be listed here, right click on it and select properties. Now click on the advance tab. There should be a printer defaults button, click on it. Make sure your copies number is set to 1. Then click ok on each window and close.

Hope this helps

Only printing 1/2 the image of the selected photo, I have tried changing the printer cartridge but still only prints 1/2 the selected image, any ideas why this is happening?

I am not familiar with that particular printer, but it could be as simple as making sure you have the entire picture selected..but it sounds more like the cartridge is either clogged or there is a setting that needs changed...try aligning the cartridge(s) and printing a test page. (that part is usually under a maintenance or troubleshooting type section) if that turns out fine, then there may be a setting thats off...look at your print settings...you may have a separate section just for printing photos...even if you don't, look at your page setup.. look specifically at the margin settings...that might be where the problem lies..you can always play with the margin settings- i would recommend saving them under a custom setting if you want to keep them, instead of default though...that way you have your regular settings for general printing... and do a "print preview"...that might be a good idea anyway, so you wont have to waste ink and paper trying to get your stuff to turn out how you want it (plus that will show you if margins are set right)...for that, there should be a checkmark box you can select to always do print previews...
also, look to see if you have a selection or checkmark box that says "fit to page" or where you can select how many copies you can print per page..this can be used for everyday printing, as well as for photos...
you may even see a spot where you can select the size of photo to print...usually you can pick to print "wallet size or 4x6, ete." and how many to print on a single page...maybe even multiple sizes per page...these are several options for you to look at...hope it helps :)

When I print a one page document, tray 1 prints on multiple papers at a time. 1 page prints on 5 pages.

If you don't have a manual, you can find one here

My guess is either on the printer or the driver. Skimming the manual, it doesn't seem that you can set the default number of pages printed per sent print job on the printer, but that is something I would look into. This is a nice office printer, perhaps the printer is set to print multiple copies of everything it is sent. You could determine if it is the printer or driver/computer by printing to it from another computer.

If it is the computer, go into the control panel and select the properties for this printer. In there, check if the number of copies is improperly set to 5. This would happen for every print job sent from this system.

Does it print 5 copies of documents sent from different programs (i.e. Web Page, Word, Excel)? Quite possibly, one time you set it to print 5 copies and that application retained that as default. In that application, rather than clicking "print" click "printer setup" and look through the settings to see if it is requesting multiple copies.

I am 95% sure one of these three solutions will solve your problem.

HP 4 Plus printing same job multiple times

I'm not an HP user but try this.

Does this work with all programs (e.g. when you try to print a page from Google) or does it happen only when using your word processing program? Which program are you using?

When you tell it to print one page there is generally a place in every word processor that will allow you to tell it how many copies you want. Make sure that setting is correct. Check your default settings as well to ensure they are set to one page.

If you don't know how to change the number of copties, go to your help setting in the program and look up "copies"

Also check your hardware setting on your printer to make sure you don't have it set to 5 copies.

Double sided printing Pixma MP520

here's how:

print double sided pages

1. Set your computer software for double sided printing if you have a printer that is compatible. Double sided printers are generally professional style machines, and most offices, schools and libraries will have them. On a PC, go to the drop down "File" menu and select "Double Sided Printing" under the "Preferences" or "Properties" window and print. If you have a MAC, click "Copies and Pages" under the "File" menu, select "Layout" and then click on "Long-Edged Binding" and print.
2.Print double sided with your standard home printer, again, by setting your PC writing software. When you are ready to print, click on the drop down "File" menu and select "Print." From the "Print" window select "odd pages only," or "even pages only."
3.Set your odd and even pages a bit differently if you are working with MAC writing software. Select "Print" from the drop down "File" menu and click on the arrow to drop the "Copies & Pages" menu. Under the "Copies & Pages" menu, select "Paper Handling" and then click on "Odd Numbered Pages" or "Even Numbered Pages."
4.Select "Odd Pages Only" or "Odd Numbered Pages" and then print as usual. It is a good idea to mark the top of your first page with a pencil so that you know the direction and side of the page your printer prints. Use the mark to determine how to turn your pages and place them back in the printer. Select "Even Pages Only" or "Even Numbered Pages" and print again. $('.Article .Steps .Image').each(function(i,e){ e = $(e); e.find('img').error(function(){ $(this).unbind(); e.remove(); }); });
