Question about Acer Altos G700 Server
Is it an old fan, which was quiet to start with?, then you can try
1) blow it clean from dust
2) lubricate it - this must be done very carefully. If it's the type of fan with a plastic label covering the centre (the axle), then remove the label and drip 1 drop of oil (non-organic), then replace the label.
3) In worst case, buy a new fan - they're easy to replace if you find exactly the same fan.
